The cleanliness of the hotel was so-so! Unfortunetly, when we stayed, the hotel was doing renovations to the main lobby area, which either Hotels.com was unaware of or forgot to tell us! Also, the first floor hallways were dirty, but only due to the renovations that it was making! We also didn't like the fact that the microwave and mini-fridge was behind […] a wooden cabnet, but that was trivial. Other then these problems, the staff was great! Especially Mark or Mike! The hotel staff was accommodating and very polite. The issues we had were that when we showed up they had us as already checked in, so we had to wait for them to go up and verify that no one was in the room. Then when we got to the room, the complimentary bag of CheezIts were on the nightstand half eaten. The business center consists of one computer […] that is outdated and is hooked to a printer out of ink. The breakfast was good. "The Hampton Inn at Hamilton Road"
I stayed at the Hampton Inn due to weather-related conditions that didn't allow for safe travels home. The hotel overall was nice and welcoming. I enjoyed my stay. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was tasty. The wi-fi was easy to access and I was online within minutes and able to work from my room. The room had a microwave […] and a fridge with a free bottle of water. It was right next door to a Red Lobster, which was very convenient. The only thing that would've made it perfect would've been a working fireplace in the main lobby. It was about 5 degrees outside, 4 inches of snow on the ground and it was still falling. I went to the lobby for hot chocolate with my book, expecting to curl up by the fireplace, and it didn't work; but overall, my stay was pleasant and would recommend the hotel.
