We were very pleasantly surprised with our stay at the Red Roof Inn OSU North. We were in town for a dog show and the location was very convenient to the Expo Center. The area felt very safe. The hotel was adjacent to a shopping complex with every kind of eatery you could imagine as well as Krogers, Big Lots, & a beverage/party store. We asked for and […] received a first floor room with hdcp parking at our door. Grassy areas were very convenient for our dogs. I believe our room was supposed to be ADA accessible. Not sure it would meet all criteria but it was sufficient for my needs. The tub had grab bars and the toilet was higher. The bathroom was large with a wider door, but I noticed the sink (located in bedroom) was high and would be difficult for a wheelchair. The room furnishings were average with some nice details that I didn't expect (coffee maker, newer TV, hair dryer, desk area and nice office chair). We were satisfied with the cleanliness of the room and bed linens considering the very reasonable price we paid for the room. Housekeeping made up the beds and replaced the towels for us, even providing additional toiletries. WiFi worked just fine the entire time we were there. My bed could have used a bit of memory foam to make it a little more comfortable but it was very manageable. Check in was a very pleasant experience and we were not even required to leave a credit card on file! We will definitely return here for our next visit. Read more

I stayed in a superior king room for 3 nts midweek. The room was comfortable, although the bed rolled to the middle and the pillows were too hard. The desk area was good for working. Housekeeping was effective and unobtrusive. Water pressure was acceptable. The bathroom is tiny. My favorite thing about this hotel was its location. It's on the corner […] of Olentangy River Rd, which is a good connector to the campus as well as Hwy 315. Great value for the money. I travel for a living. Have stayed in Columbus a number of times and had some very harrowing experiences. I reluctantly tried the red roof at ohu and was pleasantly suprised with the very nice, clean, fresh room.

I had a medical school interview at OSU and needed a cheap place to stay. The receptionist was very nice when I checked in. My room was nice and clean. Sleeping conditions were good. Only downside is that it is at the far northwest corner of campus so it can be quite a walk to campus. Too poor and impatient to catch a cab!

Wonderful, really close to OSU we walked over to the game and great shop right in front of hotel. Also great plaza right next to hotel we went there for dinner after we toured the area.

All of the hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and tidy. The location is very accessible to hotels, stores, and gasoline stations. It is a really great place to stay when visiting The Ohio State University College because it is basically walking distance, which we had no problems finding the campus.

Overall the room was clean and comfortable. It was the lowest price in the area and was well worth the money. The tv was a little outdated but what do you expect for the price. I would definetly stay there again.

The hotel is well situated in Columbus, and very convenient to all the local attractions, places to eat and shop. Cleaning staff seemed to work around the clock, and the hotel and grounds revealed such as well. Booked two rooms through Expedia, so check in and out was very fast. We did have to wait about two minutes to check in, as the desk manager had stepped away, but they had a posted a note so we knew he would be right back. That was helpful, as I was on a tight schedule, and knowing he would be back quickly gave me peace of mind. Great value, price-wise. […] Through Expedia we booked two double-bed rooms for less that one room next to the convention center. Room was clean, with soup and shampoo waiting on the edge of the shower, and the toilet paper end was nicely folded, with a little red roof sticker on it. There is a little shopping mall right next door, including a McDonalds, so anything you might need was within easy walking distance. Parking lot was big enough that we could park right by our door.
