Hotel was clean and staff was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Location of hotel was near shopping sites and restaurants. We were very satisfied and plan to return at a later date and time.

The room was not cleaned during my stay, neither was the bed made nor fresh towels put out. The staff seemed nice, but the rooms were lacking. The linens were worn out and the bed spread was dirty.

The bed sank in the middle, and the only compensation was "We will make note of that" which is code for "we don't care, and the next sucker we get will have to suffer, too." Requested a different room, but it was denied. It was only a night, but will not be returning to this hotel.

First the location is noisy from traffic, etc. On the second night at about 5am the fridge fan began buzzing loudly waking us up. I had to unplug the fridge to get it to stop. The room also smelled musty. Internet was almost non-existent.

I went online & found this hotel to be within a mile of where we had an appointment the evening of our check in. Room was reserved online a week in advance. I knew this was not a 5 star suite but expected more. Customer service and Comfort of where I spend my money is important. We arrived a few minutes before the 3pm check in. There were several people […] behind the counter having a conversation and a few customers behind me. None of us were acknowledged until their conversation was finished. Once we got to our room, we were ready to relax after the long day on the road. First thing noticed was a left behind, dirty wash cloth just inside our door. Long story short, who ever cleaned our room had forgotten to place towels, wash cloths, soap, shampoo. Had to go down 3 floors to get them. I attempted to make coffee with the one package of coffee and the coffee poured out from all around the coffee pot. So back down to get a working coffee pot. And more coffee w creamer. Also we had asked for a smoking room, had to go back down again to get an ashtray. The tv would switch from color to black & white. Bedside lamp did not work. I am not a complainer under most circumstances but after a long day on the road and with the amount we paid, I at least expected to come into our room and get comfortable, not go up and down to the front desk to get things that should have already been in place. The location was great. Close by areas I needed to be near, but the room just wasn't clean. Also, housekeeping never came by during the 4 day stay. It was disappointing and I won't stay there again.

Basic suite hotel. No pots, pans, spoons or forks. Coffee urn did not fit the coffee maker. Biggest issue was the rug was not clean. The bottom of my feet were black with dirt when I stepped into the shower. The price was reasonable for New Orleans, but I will look elsewhere for my next trip.

Motel much improved since we last stayed there. The room had fresh carpet and paint. Tv was old with poor picture. Shower had weak hot water pressure. Motel convienient to mall and eateries. A couple of bars within staggering distance. Not a bad experience.

The room was adequate - air conditioner was too noisy and did not cool great. We asked for bottom floor because we had two infants and special items they needed. They put us on the third floor - elevator was too far away, so we used the stairs. With all of this the stay was safe and close to the hospital.

A great value and close to the airport. Hotel is clean with a nice bathroom and a small but full kitchen. The one problem I've had in the past is that the office closes at 9 p.m. If you pre-register than the security guard can give you your room key but if not you can't get a room.

I was in New Orleans attending a convention. The hotels in downtown New Orleans were out of my price range. This hotel was an easy off and on the interstate. It took me no time at all to travel the 10 miles to the convention center and back without doing much driving on city streets. The neighborhood was industrial. Good hotel, plenty of parking, great location, short drive to everything in New Orleans. Clean, quiet, comfortable, good & quiet room Ac/Heat units, delay starts after setting but its ultra quiet! Exercise CARE when returning to hotel late at night on weekends! Neighborhood has several honky tonks, bars, and seedy nightclubs nearby and all around.

I stayed at the Sun Suites because it was the cheapest place I found, and I suppose it delivered. It was exactly what you expect for the price and nothing more. There were no real problems, but there were no pleasant surprises, either. The area seems a bit dicey, but that is probably what keeps the rates low.

Knew I might have made a mistake when I finally found the motel. All the lights outside were flickering due to an electrical blackout at the hotel. Checked in at 3am.
