We went to New Orleans to board a cruise ship. Sun Suite is about 10 miles from the ship. Down town hotels were $150 - $300 per night, too much for our budjet. We stayed at Sun Suite for $67 taxes included. The room was clean, smelled very clean, the rome was larger than most we have stayed in had a full kitchen. I had an early morning reservation for 1am. Upon arrival from a 7 hour road trip, I found it very difficult to find the address using my GPS. I only stayed one night but the room was nice ,clean and comfortable especially for the price. the lady @ the front desk was very nice and friendly too. I was really worried after reading some of the reviews (after making my reservation), because they complained of bugs intheir rooms and roooms being dirty and the place needed a makeover. But MAYBE […] the makeover has been done as my room was clean, fresh and NO BUGS! The place is no Waldorff or Ritzz but its fine for what i needed. Read more

I thought this hotel was really a bargain for the price. The photo really does not capture the attractiveness of this grand hotel and spacious grounds. I reserved three rooms and the staff and the accomodations were superb. I would recommend this hotel to family and friends. The negative reviews convey the wrong impression.

Outstanding stay, service, and amenities! I didn't expect all that was provided. Room was very clean, all was neat. I couldn't help but check under the beds and inspect everything. Outstanding room and facilities. Parking lot well lit, customer service outstanding. The ladies at the counter were very nice and inviting. Even the security guard was really […] nice. The one thing I can say that could have been better is that there was no one to help me after hours. The security guard said that I had to conduct that business in the morning at 8 am. And by after hours, I mean 9 pm, if I remember correctly. Oh, and there was no phone service for me to call the front desk. Other than that, great place to stay! Thank you very much! This is the best priced,comfortable, and cleaned hotel I have ever been in. When I got into the room the air was already on how conveinent was that. I didn't have to sit there hot until the whole room cooled off. The shower tub was so white and clean, that was very impressing.
