"Mom-Daughter Getaway"
My 10-year-old loved this hotel. With the yummy happy hour, indoor-outdoor pool, hot tub (seemed to have a problem with debris not filtering out), free breakfast & wifi & friendly, safe environment, she was sold. Yogurt Mountain across the street is awesome. Fabulous location for quick stop off the interstate, close to restaurants, shopping & 20-screen […] movie theater. Near defunct mall, but area seems to be in the middle of a revitalization boom, so no worries about the neighborhood. One minor drawback was the entire 7th floor stunk of cigarette smoke. It hit us as soon as the elevator door opened, & while our room was non-smoking, within 15 minutes we were sneezing from the penetrating odor. Service was awesome, out room was changed immediately to the 3rd floor, no worries. Second room was perfect. Also, kudos for soundproofing. Stayed as base for taking kids to camp. The rooms were VERY clean and staff was responsive to a clean-up we needed. Laundry room was clean and convenient. Check-in and -out were slick. It took about thirty seconds-literally-to check in. We were greeted with friendliness. Our room was SPOTLESS--cleaner than clean. Everything was well organized. We enjoyed a delicious hot breakfast with all the trimmings, including healthy and indulgent options, unlimited popcorn and pop until ten pm, and a dinner hour light buffet with baked potatoes, […] nachos, chicken tenders, veggies, salads etc, a variety of pops, coffee, tea and of course two free alcoholic beverages per adult. The indoor/outdoor pool was a real hit with our children and the 24 hour workout room was a hit with my husband and. This hotel is loads of bang for your buck. You will walk in and KNOW that these people are there to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Finding a place that has everything we want is not easy. Drury Inn has it all! We had a great stay and enjoyed being able to take our dog. The hotel staff was wonderful.
