"A pleasant place that was a pleasant change"
On our arrival the very personable innkeeper immediately guessed our name and introduced me to the guests present. He then gave me a personal look at the room to make sure it was satisfactory. Our room had a gas stove that was nice and kept it warm. The furnishings were very nice. Breakfast the next morning was prompt and nicely prepared. Internet was […] a bit sketchy. The buildings are old but well kept and it looks like it was on the main street at one time but the place has grown. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Quaint little place"
So the hotel was really setup in a bed and breakfast setting. It was cold out (in the 30's) so warming up in the room with the little fireplace was really spectacular. My room had a beautiful view of the wood area where I saw multiple squirrels... very used to people. The young people running the place were very friendly and seemed to really enjoy what […] they do. The room was very clean. The breakfast was some kind of stuffed french toast... I guess this was the only thing that was kind of disappointing. My husband said, if you want to lose weight, stay here for a week and this would be a good way to do it. Just not a lot of food... two french toast and a slice of watermelon. Coffee and juice were provided. I would rather spend an extra $5 and have them provide a little more in the breakfast department. Still that wasn't enough to detract from this great place... Definitely would highly recommend. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great B&B in wonderfully scenic area."
This is a lovely little B&B with an exceptionally friendly staff. One person remembered me from a stay last October, which really surprised me. The room was clean and well appointed, the breakfast excellent, the personal service superb. I would recommend it anytime over the large chains.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Great in Summer or Winter"
Cinnamon continues to be a great place to stay whenever you're in Mammoth Lakes. It's everything you need a small hotel/BnB, and nothing you don't. If you're looking for a simple place to rest your head with clean rooms, a central location, affordable rates, and friendly hosts - this is the best place to stay in Mammoth.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We go to Mammoth every now and then, just to get away and spend some time fishing. This time we decided to pick somewhere different to stay. The Cinnamon Bear is a B & B, with 2 buildings. Breakfast in the morning and appetizers in the early evening. We were delighted when the owner said she was upgrading us to a 1 bedroom with a kitchen because we […] were spending 3 nights. Our room was in the second building that looked like a motel. The bedroom was great and comfortable, but the living room furniture was old and very uncomfortable. My husband kept sliding off the couch and had to prop his feet up on the coffee table to keep from sliding. The inn was walking distance to stores, bakery, and resturants. which was great. We were upgraded to a one bedroom suite due to a large party arriving the same day. Breakfast blueberry pancakes were outstanding. Very comfortable and near everything.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Areally nice place"
A really nice place . Quiet ,clean and a comfortable bed . I had hoped to be kept awake by Bears raking through the trash cans as happened to a previous reviewer ,but even though we decided to stay a second night here , the place was quiet as a mouse . No problems with WIFI , good breakfast and an outdoor hot tub too.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Outlet Stores, Shaft's Bakery"
The room was nicely decorated and very clean. The shower had copious quantities of hot water which was very appreciated after six days of camping.. The afternoon tea was nice and the breakfast was a full breakfast consisting not only of hot and cold cereal, coffee and tea but also omelettes cooked to order.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Good Mono Lake distance"
Room was clean but very old. Bathroom nasty, stinky pillows, Ceiling peeling on your headGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Little bit dated"
Location and cleanliness of room were good. Bed was not comfortable AT ALL, very hard mattress made sleep almost impossible. Staff was very nice though and breakfast was great. No AC also made it difficult to sleep comfortably, had to open windows and put small fan in window to try and get some cool air in the room. Overall room size is on the small […] side, but decently decorated. This was the cheapest place I could find at the time, so I didn't expect perfection, but the bed needs improvement at the least. "Quaint But Dated"
Breakfast was 2 pancakes or stale cereal with coffee and OJ. Our room was above the main area of hotel and we could hear everything going on beneath us at 6 am. No sleeping in for us. Room was very quaint and spacious but extremely old and run down. If you are looking for a roof over your head for a quick one night stay and can't find anything else, […] it will do. "Quiet Get Away"
This is a very nice little B&B in Mammoth. Its less than a mile away from The Village, and near a bunch of great spots to eat. I happened upon here before the Mammoth Half Marathon race, and it was the perfect location. Less than half a mile from all the morning pick up spots and very quiet so I got a perfect night's rest. I had originally booked two […] nights and missed the window to cancel one night, wasn't upset about that, it was my own fault, but the owner was nice enough to upgrade me to a nicer suite. I would definitely come back here with a special someone and enjoy a weekend away from the city =) Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Good value for your money. Lovely B & B.Home cooked breakfast. Great location to Mammoth Lake and Devil's Post Pile.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We had an amazing time! Pam, who does just about everything, including breakfast, was an incredible host. We fished at Lake Crowley until we were stupid. If you are an outdoors kind of a person, this is the perfect spot to fish and hike. The B&B allowed us to shower and clean up for a wonderful night on the town. I would highly recommend this place […] to anyone who would like to take in the beauty of Mammoth lakes and the Village. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Great service and location, and a comfortable room. A couple spider webs in the bathroom, but easily swept away and didn't detract too much from the overall comfort of the room.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Good, but the breakfast could be earlier for us early birds. Bed was very comfortable. I brought my iPad and no issues getting connected in my room.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great place for a Weekend Get away"
The room was cozy and had its own fireplace. There is no air conditioning in the room but they did have a fan which we placed by the open window (it had a screen) and got plenty of fresh air. The breakfast was strawberry cream cheese stuffed french toast with fresh fruit, juice, milk and coffee. It was very good! I will stay again when in the area.Genuine Expedia guest review
"An excellent place to stay in Mammoth"
The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. The room was quiet, comfortable and well appointed. Hotel amenities such as coffee, snacks and a morning hot breakfast were great. An excellent choice.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Efficiency & Location"
This appears to be a mom and pop operation. It affords its guests with an affordable, clean and comfortable room in a location that has many options, most of which are fairly expensive. To achieve this, the owners do the check-in, provide basic services and go a little beyond what one would expect from a standard motel experience. There were snacks […] and beverages available in the evening. The breakfast goes a bit beyond the usual "continental." One of us is gluten intolerant and we were given special attention with a plate of scrambled eggs in addition to the various cold cereal and sweet roll options the following morning. It seems that the owners (at least I think they're the owners) are feeling a bit beleaguered and so it is useful to be a bit patient with them. You should also know that they close the registration window in the evening (8pm, I think), so no one is available to assist until it opens again at 7:30am. That said, we slept well in a nicely decorated room and our stay was more than acceptable. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Staff was awesome and the breakfast was awesome thanks 8)Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I really liked the ambience, friendliness of the managers, hot breakfast and locale (in a forest with bears). The only negative was the bed which was too soft for my bad back, and the fact that my wife, 7 year old daughter and I had to share one bed. But it was an experience and the other positive things made up for it..the hot tub, mid afternoon snack […] and rustic charm. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Clean and Affordable"
If your looking for a clean room for an affordable price this is your place. We stayed in a room with a queen bed just off the Jacuzzi. The room was clean and the Jacuzzi was nice and warm. It's not a fancy hotel but very pleasing for the price. The breakfast was included and we were served stuffed French toast with strawberry cream chees. It was excellent. […] They also had coffee, juice, cereal (hot & cold). The staff was wonderful. We only stopped for the night and it was perfect for us. We ate dinner at The Mogul and it was very good. Truly a hidden gem! Looks run down on the outside, but the rooms are incredible on the inside. High four-poster bed, a gas burning fireplace, really romantic/cozy. Ski/board locker outside the room so you don't have to drag them inside (we stored our Mammoth beer there to stay cold!). Amazing made to order breakfasts every morning (strawberry cream […] cheese stuffed French toast one day, spinach tomato Romano omelette the next). Afternoon snacks. Pam and her husband were wonderful hosts, very informative. Located centrally between Old Mammoth Road area and The Villiage/Mammoth ski resort. Off the main road, so no traffic. We had a bear roaming outside and the sound of woodpeckers to wake us in the morning. Jacuzzi if you can brave the cold! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"great, practical, little gem of a stay and good fo"
We traveled to the Mammoth area in Late February 2013 for 3 days of snowboarding and sightseeing. This place is a little gem and a great value for what you receive. We came across it unexpectedly while searching the travel sites and certain mentions compelled us to commit and try it out. The owners are very friendly. We arrived in town late, after 9pm […] and Pam actual called to check our ETA, let us know where our key would be and that the area was icy and to be careful. The breakfasts are very good. We are pretty practical people but admittedly coffee snobs, the coffee served with breakfast is good, actually better than some med roast CBTL Ive had. The suites have coffee makes so you can bring your own grind. The bed in the suite we stayed in was amazing. We'll be back this summer for fishing and mountain biking but regardless when our small family travels here in the winter again we plant to stay here. p.s. Alpine Garage is a few parcels down the street, owners are long time locals and the wife rents out child toys, carrier packs and booster seats for very reasonable rates if you have a toddler. "Great Value for the Price"
Once inside your room, you'll find it clean and serviceable. The facility itself is a hodgepodge mess of buildings sited on the deliveries side of a shopping center. The very affable innkeepers make you feel welcome in a visiting-aunt-Millie sort of way. An old, questionably clean, jacuzzi is the only amenity, and some rooms open directly on to this […] noisy eyesore. Though a welcome after-ski perk, you may want to request a room farther away. A delicious (albeit single-choice) breakfast is served 7-9A. I stayed during a heavy snow weekend and found a requirement to move cars to accommodate a plowing schedule annoying. You are also required to dig your own car out of any snow. Not sure the Inn can do much about either, but many local hotels have underground parking. This is NOT a Ritz-Carlton, but you didn't pay for that-- so you're likely to be pleasantly surprised, if not charmed by this quirky and inexpensive Inn. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
I stayed at for two nights at the Cinnamon Bear Inn to visit the surrounding areas - Mono Lake, Bodie, Juno Lakes - and found the Inn a very friendly place in a convenient location. "Good place to stay overnight- will use again"
Arrived rather late close to 8pm. Location a tad tough find in dark but not bad. Very friendly staff who helped me find a really good dinner restaurant close by. Crashed after dinner into a comfy bed. Heard some noise during the night but that did not really bother me. There were some racoons or bears banging the trash cans. Breakfast was hearty.
