Built in 1946, the 125-acre Naples Beach Hotel and Golf Club in Naples, Fla., is located approximately 20 blocks from Naples Pier and two miles from Tin City. Naples Municipal Airport is five miles from the hotel.
Hotel Features.
Naples Beach Hotel and Golf Club is host to eight restaurants and bars, including Broadwell's Restaurant, which is open during the winter months. Decorated in dark cherry wood and pale yellow, the restaurant overlooks the golf course and serves light fare for lunch and dinner. With 34,000 square feet of meeting and event space, the hotel also includes an on-site staffed business center for various administrative services. The resort boasts an on-site 18-hole championship golf course, six tennis courts and two heated outdoor pools. Pilates and yoga classes are offered in the fitness center; a kid's club schedules children's activities. Spa services, including a Rehydrating Milk and Honey Body Wrap and a Tropical Marine Body Polish are available. Guests rent sailboats, kayaks, bicycles and pedal boats, and concierge services can arrange fishing, parasailing and nature excursions for a fee.

The 318 guestrooms offer panoramic views of either the Gulf of Mexico, the golf course or the landscaped grounds. A variety of themed rooms are available, including the Florida Room's hardwood and tile floors, white Florida shutters and wood porch, and the Cabana Room's wicker chairs and French doors that open onto a furnished patio. All guestrooms feature refrigerators, wireless Internet access, in-room safes and desks.

Broadwell's - Indoor and outdoor dining located in the clubhouse with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the green expanse of the golf course. Lunch menu includes soups, salads, fish and chips, and Reuben and steak sandwiches. Open from late morning till late evening during the winter months. The adjoining Totch Brown's Bar serves a selection of specialty martinis, fine wines, and international beers.
HB's on the Gulf - Lunch and dinner by the water's edge indoors or al fresco. Lunch menu includes seafood gumbo, blue crab salad, burgers, sandwiches, and grilled lamb chops. Dinner features fresh seafood, soups, salads, Italian entrées, steaks, and poultry.
The Everglades Room - Hosting daily hot and cold breakfast buffet, with a stunning view of the Gulf of Mexico.
The Seminole Store - This lobby deli features sandwiches and salads for beach picnics, pizza, fresh-baked goods, sundry items, beer and wine, espresso drinks, snacks, fine cigars, and fresh flowers. Open morning till mid-evening.
The Sunset Bar and Restaurant - The place to watch a fiery Florida sunset or listen to jazz with a frosty tropical concoction. Snack bar serves sandwiches and drinks, and casual dining is available for lunch and dinner. Live entertainment each evening. A patio offers flat-screen TVs and indoor and outdoor dining.
Beach Klub 4 Kids is open daily and provides complimentary activities for children ages 5 to 12 under the supervision of trained counselors. Choices include swimming, arts and crafts (surcharge), beach walks, movies, and sandcastle building. Friday and Saturday evenings, the resort hosts a “kids' night out,” with a movie, games, and dinner (surcharge for the meal).
The fitness center has cardio and strength-training equipment, free weights, exercise balls, and yoga mats. An aerobics studio offers classes including yoga, Pilates, meditation, and aqua aerobics. A day fee applies for use of the fitness center and locker room areas.
The resort has 6 Har-Tru tennis courts, equipment rental, and an on-site tennis professional. A large outdoor lap and splash pool overlooks the beach, and sailboats, kayaks, and pedal boats are available for rent. Bike rentals are also available on-site.
Concierge services can help arrange outings for fishing, additional water sports, and nature activities; fees may apply.

"Naples Beach Hotel"
We were not pleased with our stay at the Naples Beach Hotel. To start, the front desk check in experience we received was rude, untruthful and unhelpful. It is our impression, they are ruled by an iron fist and as a result they are very unaccomodating to any guests needs. They claimed they were sold out but to the contrary they were only 90% full. They […] would not accomodate us to change the location of our room and refused to give us a late check out. Our room was very worn out and our shower had very poor water pressure. Hairdryer did not work. They were good about giving us another hairdryer but were unable to remedy water pressure issue. Employees would benefit on lessons in friendliness. The quality of service in restaurants,concierge and poolside recreation was good. The evening entertainment was very good. The hotel store did not have any aloe vera or sunburn remedies in stock for kids who had a sunburn and were obviously uncomfortable. They suggested we drive to a local store to get some. Even after requesting they get some it was not put on the shelves untill someone asked them to do it 2 days later.Location is very good for restaurants in the area and local activities. Hotels amentities were marginal. The entire hotel is in much need of renovation. Elevators were dirty and greasy. Fire alarms went off during our stay and we were told it was an electical problem.This was the 2nd fire alarm in a week.We do not reccomend this hotel as we were not treated with respect. Everything was very nice. Good location right on the beach great sunsets, clean rooms and very nice staff. They do have some contruction going on but it didnt really bother us. "Excellent place for relax"
The lack of maintenance was evident when i went to take the a shower as the shower floor would flood when taking a shower. I later found out that this was caused due to the drain being clog with hair!!! There is no way the staff in charge of maintaining the rooms wouldnt have noticed this, that is unless they never cleaned the shower. "Ideal for families"
I stayed at this hotel with my two kids, ages 11 and 8, and they both loved it. The pool is conveniently located steps away from the beach, so we could do both easily during the day. The name of this resort includes the word "hotel" but it is far from a hotel. This resort has so many amenities, beautiful pools (2), beach, spa, golf, dinning, turn down service etc. The atmosphere is relaxed, everyone is very nice and happy. "Enjoyed vacation... only one hiccup"
We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The beach was lovely, although rentals of chairs and umbrellas certainly added up quickly. We played a round of golf which was fun, including spotting a bald eagle on the course (attendant told us that three live there). We only ate lunch at the hotel because it was […] expensive. However food was delicious. The room was nice and clean. Our only problem came after a day at the beach when my daughter was showering. "Check the weather before booking"
This hotel consists of several buildings. The main building where we stayed was nice and the room was clean. There is an older pool close to the main building and a new pool complex closer to the newer buildings. The only thing we didn't like about this hotel is their pool policy. First, when we arrived around 3:30 PM the person in charge of the pool […] towels wasn't there. When he finally arrived, we had to sign in for the towel we were borrowing and we were told we must return them by 6:00 PM. Then around 4:00 PM it started raining and they close the pools down. We thought it was just because of the rain, but we soon realized that was not the only reason since the rain stopped after an hour or so and still the pools remained closed. They put up a "pool closed" sign everywhere and it was kept like that until next day. It was sad to see children admonished by the security personnel only because they were just trying to get in the pool after they decided to close it. In summary, if you expect to enjoy the pools, we don't recommend visiting this hotel unless you make sure that the weather is going to be fine so at least you can enjoy it during the day. This was our 5th time at the Naples Beach Hotel and Golf Club and I'm sure we will be visiting again at some time in the future. My only negative comment is regarding the accommodation we were allocated. This hotel has a number of buildings available but we were allocated a room in the Cabana block. There is no problem with the room itself but the […] balcony overlooked a public parking lot with building work taking place at the adjacent property. The hotel confirmed that the rate for this building was the same as the main hotel building which overlooked the golf course. I would have thought the hotel would have taken into consideration the duration of our stay (7 nights) and allocated us a different room, reserving the cabana rooms for people only staying for the weekend as many appeared to do.
