This hotel was one of the most economical choices in the area yet had a set of amenities expected of more costly venues: suites with micro, fridge, separate living area, warm indoor pool, hot tub, coffee and hot chocolate in the lobby 24-7, hot breakfast included. "An envelope as a reminder for tip!"
We found hair (not ours) in both beds, a finger- (or foot-) nail in one, the bath tub was not cleaned on the second day of the stay. The hair dryer turned off after 2 minutes so I had to go to bed with wet hair (the front desk couln't help and asked me to come back in the morning when the housekeeping was back). The air con in the bathroom was broken […] (obviously for a longer time), so the room smelled a little moist and moldly - despite the air refresher that was widely used. The best thing of all: The housekeeping left an envelope in the room - just in case we might forget to leave tip in the room. In 20 years of business travelling through different countries that was the first time that happend to me! I always leave tip for the housekeeping on my pillow - if the room is clean.
