The Grand Hyatt Kauai is nestled on 50 oceanfront acres along Keoneloa Bay in Koloa, Hawaii. Poipu Shopping Village is within two miles of the hotel. Koloa Town is less than three miles away.

Ilima Terrace presents breakfast buffets and al fresco dining amid waterfalls and koi-filled ponds, while Dondero's boasts classic Italian offerings and an expansive wine list. Hawaiian cuisine is highlighted at Tidepools, while healthy dishes are served at Anara Spa. Live music and performances are an integral part of the Grand Hyatt Kauai experience. The Grand Hyatt Kauai Luau, offered on select days, features a buffet, hula dancing, an open bar and craft demonstrations. Live jazz accompanies the cocktails served at Stevenson's Library, while the Seaview Terrace starts each evening with a torch lighting ceremony and entertainment.
The 18-hole Poipu Bay Golf Course is adjacent to the property. Two freshwater outdoor pools are available, as is a water park with a 150-foot waterslide. Ancient healing remedies are the focus of ANARA Spa, with treatments including the Kauai Clay Ritual and Detox Oil Therapy. A lap pool, lava rock showers, fitness equipment and wellness classes are also available.

The Dock - Overlooking the lagoon beach. Self-service, cafeteria-style dining. Burgers, sandwiches, and salads. Open from late morning to early evening.

Shipwreck Bar - Adjacent to the saltwater lagoon. Open from late morning to early evening.
The "Share the Stars" dining option allows guests to enjoy a secluded dinner with a private server at a linen-draped table near the beach.
Guests can experience a traditional Kauai celebration with the hotel's Polynesian Revue, which includes an authentic Luau feast and hula performance presented Thursday and Sunday evenings. Guests can enjoy cocktails, a Hawaiian dinner buffet, and a taste of Polynesian history and culture.
This oceanfront resort is adjacent to the 18-hole, par 72 Poipu Bay Golf Course, designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. A water park features a 1.5-acre saltwater lagoon with beach, a 150-foot water slide, several spa tubs, and an artificial river that meanders through lush gardens and hidden grottos and under waterfalls to a freshwater lagoon pool. <
Shipwreck Beach, in front of the resort, is for strong swimmers, boogie boarders, and surfers only. For ocean swimming, Poipu Beach is two miles west. The S-shaped beach's lower loop is protected by an artificial reef. The upper loop offers surfing and boogie-boarding. In between, there's great snorkeling among lava rocks around a small sand islet.
Island activities include helicopter sightseeing tours along the spectacular Na Pali Coast, coastal and river-boat excursions, and deep-sea fishing. Horse riding is available both along the beach and in the countryside.

On Kauai’s south side, Poipu is known for its gentle waters, which make snorkeling and swimming ideal; Mahaulepu Beach and Shipwreck Beach are among the favorites. Nearby, the Kauai Coffee Company, Hawaii’s largest coffee plantation, is open for tours. West of Poipu, sweeping vistas greet visitors at the Waimea Canyon, while the surf and lava collide at the Sprouting Horn.

一流ホテルの名に恥じない、素晴らしいホテルだと思います。 ホテルの中は何処を歩いても、美しく芽を奪われます。ホテル内の食事も美味しくて、日本人の口には合うと思います。 時間があれば、一日ホテルの中や周囲の探索でゆっくり過ごしたいですね。ゆっくりリゾートできるホテルです。 ただし宿泊１泊ごとにリゾート税２５ドルがかかりました。予め分かっていると嬉しいです。Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"また来たいです"
大規模でゴージャス、でも雰囲気はオールドハワイアンでアジアチックでステキ。とにかく満点、とにかくうっとり夢見心地、また行きたいホテルの一つです。バスタブ付き（独立したシャワーブースがないのが少し残念ですが、十分広くて使い勝手のいいバスルームです）、洗面所も広々していて洗面ボウルも2個あります（友人との旅行だったので、各自専用の洗面ボウルが使えて、支度も手早くできます）。そしてバスルームの中にトイレがあるのですが、トイレにもドアがあるので、たとえば友人がトイレを使っている間、洗面所で私が歯を磨くなんてこともできて、ほんとに機能的です。そして部屋の広さも十分、天井がめっちゃ高いので余計広く感じます。そして庭の広さもすごい！大規模ホテルですが、敷地が広いのでお客さんが分散するせいか、混雑している感 […] じはしませんでした。またレストランもドンデロス（日・月曜日は休みだそうです）とタイドプール（ハワイアンキュイジーヌ）に行きましたが、雰囲気もお味も最高。バレットパーキングに一回10ドル取られるのはちょっと残念でした（私の英語力がないせいか、有料であることがよくわからず、チェックアウト時に請求書を見てビックリしました）。でもまた行きたいです。 Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
