This hotel is definitely not worth paying $100 or more per night. If you arrive after 9p good luck talking to a knowledgeable staff about restaurants in the area. You have to check in from a different building from which your staying. Once I opened the room door it had a "musty" or old basement smell. The bathroom sink had had hair that wasn't mine […] in it and the ceiling paint was peeling. For this to be an oceanfront hotel I was disappointed at the minimal accommodations. This hotel is no where near the boardwalk or the strip. You have to drive an additional mile if you want food or activities. He rooms are in need of a makeover ASAP so if yur looking for luxury this is not your place. Looking for a place to sleep for the night with no other options his is yur place. Read more

Nice Hotel, In a residential ocean front area which is nice and quiet. This hotel does allow pets which is a plus and good to know for future reference. Restaurant was good, excellent French toast. We stayed here during the Shamrock Half Marathon and the service was great for runners. Staff wore race tee-shirts, shuttle service was offered to and from start and finish and we got a free breakfast to go before the race. We felt very welcomed.

I was very disappointed with the hotel. I didn't get an ocean front but an oceanview as requested. One of the beds were broken off the frame and half way on the floor. The hotel was not as clean as it should be. It did not have WiFi in my room as described. The staff was very nice. The bathrooms need updating. This used to be a very upscale hotel a few years ago. It needs some attention to bring it back up to speed.

My extended family and I stayed at this hotel for two nights for my son's college graduation. The hotel's overall condition is ran down and dirty. We had to move from our first room because as soon as you opened the door, there was an overwhelming smell of urine. As if that wasn't enough, there were hair strands in the bed sheets, the toilet had a pinkish […] fungus along the waterline and overall condition of the room was very dirty. The room they moved us to was not much better but at least it did not smell like a urinal. Other family members requested to be moved from certain rooms too due to the same types of problems. The air vents in the hallways where caked with gray dirt, the carpets throughout needed vacuuming and were stained and there was missing and crumbling tile along the walls. I could go on. This hotel is definitely not a 3 star hotel. I would rate it as a 1.5 at best. Very disappointed and if we hadn't had quite a few family members including elderly folks with us and a packed schedule, we would have left late that Friday night to have found cleaner accommodations. Stay was great. Only reason cleanliness got a 3 was because we found a bottle of soda under the bed. Also, we went on or anniversary and asked for a room with 1 queen bed. They said no problem over the phone, but when we got in the room there were 2 beds.

This is the second time I've booked a room at this hotel. The first time, the desk clerk was accommodating and changed my room after I was unhappy with the first. That room was o.k. The second time, I had booked a room a few years later and realized my mistake when I arrived on site. I checked in anyway. When I opened the door to my room I was not happy […] at all. This hotel leaves a horrible first impression. With a name like Wyndham you expect much more. The entrance is through the back behind a dark parking lot. It appears that the hotel once had a pleasant looking front entrance but it has since been boarded up. The hallways are covered by cold, cheap tiles. We arrived around 9 pm or so just my mom and I and the guy who checked us in was very rude and not helpful at all. He didn't speak to us or welcome us just asked for my credit card. Then asked me to sign a paper and said you are in room 322! That meant nothing to us it was our first time there so we had no idea where we were going. I had to ask where […] that was and he replied over there and pointed! I am an innkeeper at a b&b and could not believe how we were treated! We ran into a worker on our way to the room and he was very helpful. Our housekeeper was also very nice and friendly! Parking is very difficult to find. The bathroom commode had a yellow ring around it and it looks nasty. The carpet floor was never vaccumed for the 5 days I stayed and bedsheet was changed only once. My room was overlooking the ocean and i love watching the sunrise every morning, I enjoyed the view of the beach and the ocean.

The hotel's location is very nice right on the beach. I did not like that pets are allowed in the hotel. I think I ran into at least 4 dogs during a one night stay. I am not against dogs, I just do not like the idea of sleeping in beds that guests allow their dogs to sleep on. It is probably good for families that are traveling together. We were impressed with the number of maintenance people working to keep the hotel looking good in spite of the combination of heat and humidity which is extremely hard on bathrooms, paint, and, operating systems. I gathered that the building is not new. Our room had a pleasant odor.
