"The "best" you can do in Hot Springs"
This hotel isn't the best, it's just the best of what you have to choose from. The property is in dire need of updating as the tired interior finishes make the place feel less than clean. Housekeeping staff is pleasant but no attention to detail. All staff is very pleasant and are the icing on a cake that has been long picked over.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Negatives: For the price this room was not worth it....the water would not drain from the bathtub, or sink......the matress was hard and very uncomfortable.....I will not return to this hotel! "Nice but cleaning staff leaves alot to be desired"
The Embassy is a beautiful hotel and was very convenient for our traveling to the convention center. The made to order breakfast was great and the waitstaff in the breakfast area were wonderful. Unfortunately, the staff that cleaned our room daily over our six day stay was just bad. There were four of us staying in the room and we regularly had just […] one towl left and no toilet paper, even though the one roll was almost empty. When we politely asked the cleaning staff for more towels, while they were still cleaning further down the hall, they would roll their eyes and act put out by having to give us the extra things we needed. They also did not come to clean rooms until late in the afternoon. Many times we were back in our room to get ready for the evening and had to leave the room to give them time to clean. We also requested a room with two double beds and were given one with a king. They were switching out TVs in the rooms, so they did not have a double room available. "Embassy Siutes Hot Springs,Ar"
Overall great place to stay.They didn't clean our room even after we asked them.We did request clean linens and they took care of that..The internet if used in the rooms cost $10.00 per 24 hours.After we told the manager our room wasn't clean she took care of our internet costs. Breakfast was great with cooks that cooked eggs any way you wanted, other […] than that all you can eat breakfast. Pool was clean and very nicely landscaped with plants. Access to sights were close and easy to find. Overall I would stay there again and I understand there are going to be things go wrong. "not quite in town"
We wanted a hotel that was in the city center. I would say this one was on the very edge of the city center. You had to walk about half a mile or more to get to the main shopping dining area. If you are going to a convention it is right next to the convention center. We were just on vacation. The overall decor was a little dated to the 90's but everything […] was very clean and the staff were great. Our view was on the back side of the hotel and had a view of the mountains but also a couple of slummy looking houses. The room was spacious. There is a charge to make a local call which I did not read on the phone. I just assumed you could make local calls. Internet is not free which is odd because it is one of the most expensive hotels in the area. We drove around lake hamilton and there are some nicer new hotels we will try next time.
