Our stay was very nice, we loved the setup of the room and having the home feeling is great. Being able to have our dog there was wonderful. The only negatives were our room was missing a remote and the microwave was not working. "Worh considering for an extended stay."
This is the perfect kind of hotel for me. The rooms are clean and spacious, and quiet. The room had a small kitchen including a stove, sink, microwave and full size refrigerator. Perfect for extended stays. I also liked that the cleaning staff only comes in once a week, unless you request more frequent cleaning. If you need your towels replaced , you […] just take them to the front desk and they will give you clean replacements. The hotel also had free washers and dryers, and a gym. The gym was nothing special, and the treadmill needed balancing, but it was good for a quick workout. For what you get, the price is great. We had to stay at another hotel during our stay in Hot Springs, and that hotel was the same price but was filthy, and didn't offer even half the amenities that the Candlewood Suites hotel offered. The hotel was overall really nice. We were promised by the 800 number we called that we would have a roll away bed for our daughters. It was not there, and hard to find once we got there. They did finally find us one. It was Spring Break. . .and they seemed to be scrambling to keep up with the crowd, as though they didn't expect it. "It's Good"
I loved my stay, we don't travel much, so when we do we want it convenient. The only bad thing overall was the air unit. You set it on 70 it drops to 60, and when you turn it up, it turnes on the heat. The ice maker in our room didn't work, but that's no big deal. I would stay here again, or tell others to also. The room was nice, with all the necessary elements to stay for an extended period of time. Granite counter tops, huge bathroom, and a comfy mattress: it was great! This hotel was clean, comfortable and close to everything. The staff was more than accommodating. The only negatives are the tub is not at all comfortable to lie in and the heat/air turns off when you leave the room. So if you love long baths this is not for you. The problem with the heat is that it cannot tell the difference between your being out […] of the room and your being asleep. Hot Springs is very hot in the summer and this means you wake up every couple of hours sweating and have to turn on the lights and move around so the air comes back on.
