"convenient for convention"
HOward Johnson's was selected for its proxim ity to a convention. It was east to find and had easy access. The staff was courteous and helpful. The room was clean. The only problem was that that the hotel key magnetic strip tended to "demagnatize" easily and you had to recard it.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Too noisy"
Extremely noisy and the fan is also too loud to try and cover the freeway noise. The lawns were dreadful looking and landscaping was the worst. Your confirmation said there was no wi-fi, so we did not bring our computer and when leaving we are told you have it??? And you charge $20.00 for our tiny little dog? ""Not Impressed""
I did not like this motel when it was a "Best Western",but thought we would give it a try as "Howard Johnson". Seems like the only thing that has changed is "The Name". It started with having to wait to be checked-in (15 min.) because the person in front of me did not have enough gift cards to pay for the room. There were no other guest waiting and […] there was 2 front desk clerks on duty. The rooms were equivalent to "Motel 6". There continental breakfast was sorely lacking. They did not even have hot water for thier packaged cocoa. The location is nice, but I will opt to pay a higher fee or drive a little further ,than have to stay here again.
