"Convenient to hospital"
Inexpensive and convenient to the hospital where I spent most of my time during and after husband's surgery. Needed my own pillow, but otherwise the room was comfortable enough for what I needed. My room had a nice view of the swimming pool -which was not open. The room was well kept. there was a desk, but no chair. the sink in the bathroom was partially plugged. there was no power to the TV, but a nice man came to fix it. "Turn before the 205 highway, else take a ride."
It's sort of a pain to get into the parking lot. If you miss the turn you may have to get on the highway, which if you just take the first exit you can double back on a side road easily. Very clean, comfortable room. Small, but had all the amenities we needed. The wi-fi was rather spotty. The room was pretty quiet, considering how close it is to the freeway. Directions on the hotel website said go south on 205 if you're coming north via I-5. if I didn't know the area, I would have gotten lost. We got a good rate. The continental breakfast was good, a nice variety of foods to choose from and the dining area was roomy and clean. However, we couldn't get the TV to work the first night and they didn't have anyone available to look at it until 4:00pm the next day. Stayed here while on a weekend getaway to attend a graduation ceremony. It was perfectly situated next to the major highways that I needed to get to. Also was convenient in that it only took about 20-30 minutes to get to Portland, Lake Oswego and the Columbia River Gorge. We had a room with just one queen bed and I would never do that again. The room was extremely small, hardly enough room to get between the bed and the dresser....the electical outlet in the bathroom did not work, so had to find a outlet behind the dresser in order to dry my hair or to use the curling iron....also could not get the lamp in the corner […] of the room to work so the lighting was very poor....then the only place to hang up our clothes was over the table where the microwave was and there wasn't much room for our clothes to hang....We were very dissappointed in our stay this time. The room was very dirty. The bathroom had mold around the lower edge of the bathtub. There were cobwebs and dust everywhere. The bathroom had not had a deep cleaning in years.
