"Friendly, helpful people"

"Weekend Stay"
My family traveled to JMU for a swim meet and were looking for quality accomodations at a budget price. This hotel met the requirements. We booked this hotel using Expedia's Top Secret hotel booking rates and we were pleasantly surprised. We received a great rate at a location that was convenient to our destination and lots of nearby restaurants and […] amenities. While the hotel wasn't new, it was clean and seemed to be well maintained. When we first arrived, the room adjacent to ours had tenants with small children and a simple request to the front desk resulted in immediately being relocated to a quieter room. "Nice and Comfy"
We arrived later in the evening after spending the whole day at a nearby waterpark. The Front desk woman noticed our 3 young children and immediately offered extra towels. Hotel atmosphere was great, everyone was very friendly, check in was quick and smooth, free breakfast was a bonus and very nice selection. Pool was well maintained and clean. Location was convenient to several stores and restraunts. Only issue I had was no mini frig- motel listed rooms with mini frig but after checking in I was told I had to request […] a room with frig at booking.
