Staff was very friendly - let us check in early. The room was huge, nice kitchen, large flat screen TV and lots of places to sit. The bed was Ok but a little on the firm side. The staff is amazingly friendly, the room was in perfect condition, and the location is really close to Portland. Staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and comfortable. The highway is really close, which makes travel easy. If you are a light sleeper you may want to ask for a room on the non-highway side-- but even if you are on that side […] it is still a great nights sleep. Very friendly and helpful staff. Facilities were clean and well kept. Breakfast was far superior to most. They were undergoing renovation during my stay but it didn't interfere. The man who greeted us (at RI in Portland Maine) the night we arrived at the front desk was nothing short of WONDERFUL. We were exhausted. He had us laughing, made cookies and we really had never had such a great experience at a hotel and will look for you first from now on especially in Maine. I wish I knew his name but he was the only person at the […] front desk that evening and you should recognize him for the amazing job he does for you, truly.
