"Noisy"
The hotel was undergoing renovation during my saty. The day of arrival construction stopped at 5pm as told by the staff at the desk. The second night I arrived back from dinner at 8:30 and construction was ongoing. When i told the manager on duty (DEC 7) that the construction was to cease at 5 pm I got an attitude. I stayed in Portland, ME for two nights at the Fairfield inn Maine Mall. The hotel was conveniently located. My room was at the end of a hall on the third floor, and therefore, very quiet. Breakfast was nice, if not overly healthy. I had a waffle straight off the waffle iron, a banana, and a yogurt. Most of the staff was extremely accommodating. When Marriott refers to this property as it's value property, I guess they are referring to "low cost" and a free breakfast and newspaper.
