"awesome older hotel with character, great views,"
Could maybe use some new carpeting and a little updating, but hotel was inexpensive, right on the water, with a garden of old growth trees and flowers filled with birds, and koi ponds,nice pool and a good breakfast included. "Uncle Billy's Hilo Bay Hotel"
The hotel is in a great location on the bay, and convenient for visiting attractions. Restaurantt, shown on website, is closed. Dining room, shown on website, is closed, except during continental breakfast, 6:30 am to 8:30 am. Hotel staff were very friendly, breakfast lady was a grouch. "Banyan Drive"

"Abenteuerlich aber sympathisch"
back to the 60ties, Originaleinrichtung sicher noch von da, aber sehr geräumig und sauber, Rezeption sehr freundlich, Frühstück nicht so toll, die Frösche sind laut, aber wer gern mal im Dschungel übernachtet hätte, kanns auch romantisch finden ;) Für den Preis ok. aber auf jeden Fall mit Auto! Tout était très bien. Chambre spacieuse et accueillante. Très propre. Vue agréable sur le jardin japonnais et la mer depuis le balcon. Personnel à l'écoute. Petit déjeuner inclu dans le prix de la chambre. Hotel situé à 5-10 minutes de l'aéroport, du centre ville, et très bien situé pour visiter le nord et le sud de l'ile (à moins d'1h30 en voiture), […] ainsi que du parc national de Volcano (à 45 minutes). Ett helt greit hotell, ligger i utkanten av Hilo.. Området rundt likner mest på et industri område så det er ikke veldig koselig ... Kort avstand til flyplass og har en Cafè/butikk på området der du får tak i det du trenger... OBS, liten parkeringsplass til hørende hotellet og "butikken"...Genuine Hotels.com guest review
