"Overnight business stay"
The pros about this place is that it is conveniently located right off the thruway and northway and is within a mile from a supermarket and many chain restaurants. Also, my room had a microwave and mini fridge which was great. On the downside, the room was not in the best condition. "Only if absolutely necessary"
Stayed here for two nights while taking the NY Bar exam. The hotel was really disgusting - run-down and dirty, and it smelled terrible (a mixture of cigarette smoke and urine in my room). The housekeeping barely touched my room after the first night and didn't restock any toiletries or coffee. If my mind wasn't on the exam, I would have said something […] to the management. "Very Pleased with my stay, Im Back!"
I checked in late, no drama. Room clean bed was comfy, lots of fluffy pillows. Rate was great. This time of year can be hard to find a hotels that meets my per diem. Amen. the location was great -- lots of restaurants and stores around without being right in the craziness of the city center. my only complaints were pretty minor. on the second day of my stay, the keycard stopped working. Poor location - in a strip mall on a highway with nothing else around for miles. And Albany taxi drivers are a complete rip-off -- $27 for a short ten minute drive from Albany-Rensslaer Amtrak station to the hotel. Room was comfortable, but had not been properly cleaned. There were jelly beans (yes, jelly beans) scattered on the carpet beside the bedside […] table and quite a lot of dust. The TV was broken and would not work. However, bathroom and shower were great.
