I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. I was expecting something a little "shabbier" for a roadside motel just off the interstate. Instead, this was quite adequate for a place to stay as an overnight, on the way to another destination. Clean room, crisp sheets, convenient to route access. One suggestion would be for the desk clerks to be made aware […] that it is NOT a good idea to say the room number out loud, particularly when other people are in the lobby or standing in a line to check-in. This is a safety issue for people travelling alone or anyone who might not want others to know which room into which they will be staying. My room had almost everything, despite its size. The only drawback is its closeness to traffic-- in the early morning, the nearby roads are pretty noisy.

Generally ok for a reasonable price. The only complaints were with the lack of weatherstripping on the door and the cold air & light coming in around the door. The pillows were mushy too, but otherwise it was fine and clean and convenient.

I had never stayed in an EconoLodge before, and was pleasantly suprised by the quality of the room, which was recently renovated and well appointed - new flat screen TV, microwave and refrigerator, and a comfortable desk if you have work to do. I found a towel that was used for cleaning that was left in the shower, but that was just a minor issue. I […] requested a room on the 2nd floor because they were supposed to be quieter. There were trees outside my window and I even spotted a deer in the woods in the morning. It was looking for a reasonably priced hotel within easy commuting distance to Philly and this definitely fit the bill. I'd stay there again. Perfectly fine hotel for the money. The guy at the front desk was very cheerful and chatty when we came to check in quite late, and the bed was comfortable if somewhat crammed into the small room. It's a good stay for one night. Room was clean and I noticed they had motion sensors in the room to activate the AC so that when you're gone it turns off (I think). I guess they're all about staying "green". The room did have a slight smell to it ... like incense but it went away when the AC was turned on. Internet worked just fine too. The only thing […] that was a little rough around the edges was the front desk person. He got us checked in/out pretty fast but he wasn't that friendly either. It could be a cultural thing? Not sure. The hotel is a basic, clean nice hotel. The staff was very nice and very helpful. Even when I had left and had forgot my medications in the room they tracked me down to inform me and held on to it untill I came back to pick it up. I will defintely stay at this hotel again when I am in the area!!!!

This hotel was convenient to the concert we were attending in nearby Philadelphia. The only real drawbacks were very heavy traffic, and the breakfast really was nothing....quite terrible. Dried up muffins and bad coffee were ALL they had. So don't expect breakfast but otherwise it was fine.

Its a little further from the city than we originally realized, about 20 min from Center City, and you have the $5 toll to pay to cross the bridge to get into the city, but its right off of 295 and easy to get to. Great hotel for the price. Outside looked a little run down, but the room was very clean and comfortable (just a little small). It was nice to have microwave and fridge, wondered why there was no clock radio. The continental breakfast was almost non-existant, just a couple little muffins and an empty pot of coffee. Overall, we found the hotel to be a good value. Just realize that the rooms are very small, the beds are hard. Also, the continental breakfast is very minimal - just orange juice, coffee and some small bagels and muffins.
