This hotel was under renovation. It should not have been opened. The room was very dusty all over from the dry wall or something. It smelled like paint--very strong. All kinds of construction equipment in the parking lot.

There were renovations going on in the hotel lobby which made it inconvenient (we had to step over and around the workmen and their equipment), dusty, and unwelcoming. We were not warned ahead of time, so it was quite a disappointment. Our room was acceptable clean; however, the hallways, stairways, and elevator were not. If you are looking for a place to sleep at it's ok but it's set up very cheaply. Don't ask for extra pillows because they just don't have that many. I have thicker towels to dry the dishes at home with than they did after your shower. They also refill their shampoo bottles. Hotel is nice - everything is pretty new. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Did not have the free breakfast so i can't comment on that. It is a little out of the way but not that far, only about six miles to Hershey Park. At least at the time of year I went, a very good value.

nice hotel nothing really around it other than the diner out front which was good but very close to hershey and harrisburg 10-15 min for each , make a nice buffer after a long day with kids and the indoor pool is open 9 to 9 so it was nice to be able to relax. the only thing is they were replacing carpets when we arrived but they were out by 5:30 pm […] so it really did not make a difference just a little noisy for 20-30 minutes when we got there. The hotel was perfect for our family. The kids loved the indoor pool even before the man at the front desk was nice enough to turn on the heaters for us. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very sufficient--make your own belgian waffles, cereal, fruit, yogurt, cinnamon rolls, hot chocolate, etc.

The only issue I had on our stay was I went down to get extra towels and the attendant was not there so I went back up to my room and called down and asked for towels and he asked me to come down to get them after I had already been down. I just thought that was kind of inconvenient. It's close to Hershey which is a plus.

We stayed here as it was close to race track. My only issue was that the Motel needs to invest in new pillows. Ours were about an inch thick and there were only 3 for a king bed.

The Hotel was easy to get to from Hwy 81 going south. We arrived around 12:30 and the door was locked so I had to wait in between the two sets of doors for him to go from the lobby around to the back of the desk to unlock it for me. We stayed on the third floor and half was smoking and the other half was non smoking rooms. We had a non smoking room […] but the hallway leading to the room had a very strong smoke smell. We had to turn on the heat b/c it was off and had to be about 55 degrees in the room. We also had to plug in the lights by the beds and the alarm clock, which the display on the alarm clock was unreadable. There was coffee in the room but no coffee pot to make it. We just stayed one night to split the trip in 2 days because the drive was very long. We are grown up- responsible adults, not like college kids. The worker(s) didn't greet and smile at all. In fact, one worker pointed out me in front of other costumers, and gave a warning not to make mess on my room floor. I have no idea why he said that suddenly to […] me. John from the front desk is a wonderful direction giver and guided me turn by turn like my own personal navigation system! John is a 5-star employee who added so much to my stay; nothing is a problem and he is a fountain of information for what there is to do in the […] area,diners restaurants, fast food,museums,delivery,etc. The rooms are very clean and welcoming,beds are comfortable,pool is nice and there is a nice quiet when you turn in for the night,(no outside traffic noise,or screaming, loud patrons.) The hotel room was exceptionally clean. W did not find any paper or pencils available. The bible was not available. There was a book in another language in the drawer. We had to take our own bag for laundry to the hotel. The breakfast was very well presented. The check-in person (Shawn) was very helpful.

When I booked this hotel they told me I could have a 1pm late check out, on my arrival they told me they didn't do this. The pillows were flat. Bedding was old! Carpets are dirty. And worst of all, the front desk employee, not only was he not friendly, we didn't get greeted when we walked in, he seemed irritated, and he stated our room number outloud! […] That is a safety matter that this hotel needs to teach. Location/facility is really good, and has a nice family restaurant next door. Room was clean and they did a nice job of daily cleaning during our 4 day visit. The continental breakfast left a lot to be desired. Good thing there was a restaurant serving breakfast next door!

We travel often, we have never had a complaint about a hotel. The Super8 that we recently stayed in was pretty rough. The bathroom smelled like there was something dead inside the wall and our refrigerator quit working while we were gone for the day and all of our food had spoiled. We stayed here several times when the motel was new and were very pleased. This stay was very disappointing. The room did not seem clean, there were burn marks in the carpet and blanket! The bed was lumpy and sagging. We were happy to leave and move on.

The bed was a little hard. The light in the bathroom was temperamental, you had to jiggle the switch to get the lights and fan to come on. The hotel was filled, and there was noise til 1 AM from the room above ours. There was a long line for the waffle maker, they should have 2 waffle makers if they know the lines are always long. There were no muffins […] or pastries at breakfast, though there was a spot labeled for them. The indoor pool is very small and only 3.5 feet deep. The restaurant next door was closed when we got back fro Hershey Park, but the desk clerk directed us to a nice diner about 5 miles away. Read more

The beds were filthy. On one, the sheet had brown/black stains. The other had a blanket with a cigarette burn hole that went directly through to the sheets. Obviously they either don't change the beds or they always keep the same blankets & sheets together because the burn hole matched up. There was a blood stain underneath the toilet seat which was […] totally alarming. They would not let me have a cot for my room, saying I had to request it upon check-in. The room was good but there was no closet. Also the gym equipment was terrible I couldnt even get it to work. If you are planning to just sleep and spend the rest of your time out its great though. A lot of resturants and attractions near by.
