"Excellent value"

"Great Weekend Value"

Excellant courteous staff. Rooms eh...not so nice carpeting worn and stained/dirty. Holes from hangings not patched. very noisy from the hallways...I overheard every conversation held within fifty feet of my room...Clearly. We enjoyed our stay the livingroom area is small but overall the room was nice we had a old TV but it was ok since I didnt watch it anyway... we met some other guest there that told us you have to request a flat screen TV. the staff was great, we had some issues with the TV connection hooking the game up since it didnt have HD and staff maintanence […] Stephen was Great he provided wonderful customer service and resolved our issue... "Great Hotel off the beaten path"
This hotel was AWESOME. The room was very clean and the hotel was very well maintained. The hot breakfast was very good every morning and there was a variety of choices. The evening reception was also very nice and the food was good. The front desk staff was very helpful. My only complaint would be the shuttle service...we had to wait for long periods […] each time we called for a ride. We were told it ran every 15 minutes but the was never true. Hotel was close to airport but that's it. No restaraunts nearby. Definitely need to rent a car if going anywhere. Nearest metro stop was a half hour away. When I booked the hotel, I was under the impression that I could get the shuttle to the airport and metro in to DC. Glad I rented a car. "Nice, clean hotel in good area, but too far from DC"
This was a very clean, comfortable hotel that the average traveler would be extremely comfortable staying at. The mattresses were the best hotel mattresses I have ever slept on. We only had two issues with the hotel staff. A couple of the receptionists were snappy with us when we requested the shuttle, and one even argued about whether or not they […] offered the grocery buying service they advertise on their site. We were depending on the latter to eat several meals at the hotel to save money. Unfortunately, after three attempts of trying to get them to go shopping like they said they would, we were forced to give up. One time, this resulted in us having to go to a nearby grocery store late at night, when we hadn't eaten in almost twelve hours. The stay was otherwise very nice, and the hotel remained clean and comfortable throughout the week. The breakfast and dinner receptions were excellent, and the food staff very helpful. We took the express bus into town, then hopped the Metro to the sites in DC. This bus ride is advertised to be 30-45 minutes, but it took between 45 minutes and an hour and a half every day to get there or get back (excluding the time we waited for the hotel shuttle). I would definitely recommend staying in a hotel that is at least within range of the most western station of the metro, to avoid such a ridiculously long commute (it took us nearly three hours one day).
