The people behind the counter are friendly. I've stayed here a couple times because of that. There aren't any amenities in most rooms. The only difference between the "upgraded" rooms and regular ones are a refrigerator and microwave. Everything else --furnishings, bathroom fixtures, service-- is exactly the same. You could buy a couple pretty decent […] meals for the price of the upgrade and forget about the microwave and refrigerator... Anyway my biggest complaint is the very spotty wireless service which drops constantly. That really makes it impossible to work here or surf the web or do anything modern society requires. Great location, virtually right off the freeway. Easy to connect to major LA freeways. Several restaurants are within walking distance. We received very good service. "Reasonable for the price"
A bit run down. Toilet had smudge of you-know-what on it. (The maid cleaned the room spotless when we told her the next morning). On the positive side, the room was spacious and comfortable. "Better if you are alone"
The issue is the hotelis very old. The old elevators don't have air exaustion, as well the corridors. This creates a smell of mold. Old, noise spring mattresses. Didn't find any problem or at least not bed bugs. The bathroom was clean. Little more expected from a Days Inn Hotel. Have stayed in others at same price range and was better than this one. "Terrible hotel for a nonsmoking dog loving person"
I reserved thru Expedia and nothing was said that I had to get a smoking room because I had a dog. When I arrived I learned the bad news. All my luggage stinks as well as my clothes for the rest of my trip. Will NEVER stay at a Days Inn again. I have no idea what smoking and dogs have in common. All comforts and amenities were overshadowed by the tree maintenance that took place right outside our 3rd-floor window beginning at 7:30 or 8 a.m. one morning. "Close by...but terrible view from 201"
This hotel was perfectly located to where I wanted to be. Everything was what I expected with regard to the room...nice king size bed, comfortable sofa, a working AC, and clean bathroom. But there was one thing that was a damper...the view from the balcony/patio wasn't a view at all. I had room 201 and my balcony/patio was literally looking into water […] draining pipes and other machinery. The pool was directly on the other side of this area. If I was a floor or two up, then there wouldn't have been an issue. It would have been better to not have a balcony/patio there at all, then look into the buildings pipings and what not. "Please upgrade the TVs!"
It was okay. Staff was nice; cleanliness of room was good (though the hotel is pretty dowdy in general). B also there were problems. One of the nice things about "getting away" is lazing around the hotel room watchiing TV. Unfortunately, Days Inn has old televisions with not-sharp picture and a very limited selection of channels. No Lifetime Channel […] and not even HBO. (They have Encore but it shows the same handful of movies over and over). So please upgrade the TVs and the cable service. ALSO, the desk person couldn't tell me the charges to make or received calls. Said it was a $30 deposit to activate the phone and then the actual charges "depend." Shouldn't they know? When I booked the room, I requested two beds. When we checked in, I was told that it wasn't available and that they would make up a sofa bed for me. "Not the kind of service I expected"
I booked a room in this hotel and since there was no fridge in the room (which is disappointing) I asked for one when I was booking the room for which the price went up. When I went to the hotel they told me that there is no any notice of fridge and I was told that I needed to pay extra $10 for each day for the fridge, I refused since I already paid […] extra when booking the room. And since the staff didn`t come up with any solution, whenever I entered or left the hotel they would pretend they don`t see me and wouldn`t bother to greet. "An okay budget hotel"
Stayed here for 3 nights while in a friend's wedding in L.A. Is an older hotel in need of updating but the room was fairly clean. We did find one dirty crusty spot on carpet and they sent someone up right away to clean it. She was very friendly and even gave us tips on where to eat in the area. The pool was open but still a bit chilly to swim in March […] but the hot tub was not working and was closed off which was a disappointment. "Great for what we needed"
The hotel was perfect for a bunch of girls who just needed some where to change and crash on my 27th birthday. The first room they gave us we found to be occupied when we put our key in the door and found a man laying across the bed. "Days Inn, Glendale -only if you have to"
I had to stay in the Glendale Days Inn for a night on a business trip, little did I know it was an 'extended stay ' hotel. The hotel seemed to have a lot of wear and tear and must have seen better days. The elevator's 1st floor button had a short in it causing it to not move and in one case go up one level and freeze (I was on the 3rd floor). the hallways […] had strange smells, and the room was not the cleanest looking by way of the 10th sloppy wallpaper job and nasty looking grout in the shower. I had to pay for internet service which went out on me and although there was a coffee pot, there was no iron and ironing board in the room.
