There was a repair need revealed along the bathroom cabinet, and another along bedroom wall, but overall I was very pleased with condition, amenities, and service. Worth the $30 more than a bare-bones hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very Nice, but breakfast lacking"
The hotel itself was very nice, and the service was excellent. The only negative regarding the room/furnishings was the office chair--peeling vinyl upholstery. For the price and style of hotel, I would expect a more complete breakfast offering.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Larkspur is a great independent chain!"
I visit my daughter at Christmas and have stayed at their Folsom property as well as the one in Hillsboro. The hotel is nicely designed, good amenities, adequate free breakfast and great staff. Location in the heart of the Silicone Forest is in close proximity to numerous tech firms and is convenient to roadways. The area is quiet and apparently quite […] safe. Rooms are spotless and the equipped kitchenette is a great bonus. Look forward to staying here on my next trip to Hillsboro. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Loved it!"
We loved this place and will reserve a room here the next time we travel to Portland. I wished we could have stayed longer because I did not have time to hit the hot tub or to check out the free video library or exercise room. When you open your motel room door early in the morning, and the first thing that hits you is the smell of fresh cinnamon rolls, […] you just know you are going to have a good day! Wide variety of cereals, juices, and other breakfast beverages too, plus other pastries. Enjoyed the free newspaper. Bed was very comfy and the pillows were so soft and fluffy! A couple of minor negatives, that were really no big deal. The refrigerator in our studio suite made a horrible rattling sound when it was running, so we ended up unplugging it so we could sleep. Also, the vinyl upholstery on one of our chairs was badly damaged and peeling, and that chair needs to be recovered or replaced. These two items stood out as shabby in a place that was absolutely lovely in all other respects. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great place for those wanting a kitchen"
This place was the best deal I found in the Portland area around Thanksgiving. Outside of the hustle and bustle of the city, but near the Trax (public trans) which is superb in Portland. And if you want to cook in, there is a great natural grocer within 1 mile. Most guests are business travelers and it was very quiet and comfy.Genuine Expedia guest review
"nice job by staff"
We showed up and they did not have the non smoking suite we had booked but provided us with 2 smaller suites, which was just as good. They did a nice job of making a bad situation better.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Great Family or Business Travel Stay"
Hotel is spotless. Rooms and bed are very comfortable. Heat is smooth and cozy with no drafts. Coffee all day and night in the lobby, and there is also coffee in the room. The continental breakfast is so-so but not bad. It’s typical of what is offered today. But bring your own salt. We had trouble getting salt in the breakfast area and there is no salt […] in the kitchenettes in the rooms. (Perhaps why the salt shaker kept disappearing—people would load up trays and take them back to their rooms and I imagine people nab the salt on the way.) Newspapers are available in the breakfast area. I could see they had an excellent work-out room though I didn't use it. Our studio was small but fine for two people and perfect for one person. My relatives opted for the 1-bedroom suites and they were very nice and roomy. Their free internet service is very slow so we got the upgrade for an extra $5.99 per day. There is a mid-range option for $2.99. We didn't try the mid-range option, but can say the the upgrade provided very fast service and probably security for our laptop as it required us to create a password to use. Lots of the comforts of home, including a fluffy down-like comforter as an extra blanket and mint soaps. Rooms were quiet and well lit with lots of lamps.Up-to-date styling including new bathroom trim--faucets, showerhead, etc. Everything worked perfectly. no complaints! "Nice place to stay"
We had a sitting room separate from the bedroom that was very convenient. There were Televisions in both rooms. The kitchen had dishwasher, full size refrigerator, large microwave oven and sink with dishes, cookware, flatware, and glassware furnished. The bath had a tub/shower and towels were of good quality. "We will stay again!"
We like that it is close to Forest Grove which has very few hotels. We have stayed in Larkspur Landings before and like the brand. The price has been very reasonable for the quality. The one bedroom suite was very large and comfortable. We particularly appreciated the kitchen with full sized refrigerator. The area immediately surrounding the hotel is […] industrial, but with nice sidewalks lining grass and tree-lined streets. It is close to Intel and the Hillsboro Airport. Restaurants and shopping are only a few minutes drive away. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
People were nice. The room really wasn't an Executive Suite. Breakfast left much to be desired.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Unfortunately, we were first put on the 4th floor which we learned had been used for smoking up until a month or so ago; this was immediately obvious to us, and unacceptable for obvious reasons, as well as, my daughter's asthma. We were moved to the 2nd floor. My negative scores are due to the STRONG old cooking smells embedded in the room from seemingly […] months and months of spicy cooking. "Misled in Portland"
I was not impressed. The online listings and photos did not match the building. The fireplace was only a tiny thing in the motel lobby. The room we we were assigned was a very small double bed in an alcove off a much larger kitchen area. With the large desk, there was no space to walk or entertain, much less manuever a wheelchair (the room was designated […] handicapped accessible). Luckily we stayed just 2 nights as the 3drawers in the dresser and tiny filled closet were not adequate for either one of us to unpack. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

excellent place to stay for business travellers, givent he proximity to Intel and other corporate offices. Very clean, large rooms, with everything working as expected. Also a large number of rooms available, so there is always space. Pleasant staff as wellGenuine Expedia guest review

"Pretty decent hotel for the price."
All suites include stove and fridge which is convenient. Rooms were clean. Good size work desk. Bed was acceptable as I didn't have a problem sleeping. Free internet was great. Breakfast was acceptable. Pre-toasted waffles, toast, english muffins, cereal, and canned juice. Lobby was a bit small as was the breakfast area. Not a big deal since it was […] quick service. There's a lot of places to eat nearby (a little outside of walking distance, but doable). Room was quiet and I didn't hear much road noise. One minor detail: Since you have a full fridge, the fridge's compressor will run a bit loud for the size of the room. It didn't bother me while sleeping, but I did have to turn the TV up a bit. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for the price. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Close to Intel"
The hotel is nice. The rooms have enough space, a cozy bed, work table, couch, iPhone charger dock, LCD TV, refrigerator, microwave, electric oven, dishwasher and internet access. The bathroom was clean. However, the breakfast service was poor. Coffee was cold, so were the boiled eggs and things were not replenished frequently. We were told at the front […] desk that breakfast is provided from 7:00 AM - 10:00 AM but when I reached at 9:20 AM, the breakfast table was already clean and I had to be content with a cup of coffee. Overall, it was a good enough deal for the price I paid. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Comfortable and reasonably priced"
I booked two executive rooms with separate bedrooms for my family of six. The king size bed was very comfortable and there were a lot of pillows. The room also came with a sofa bed which was convenient for us as well as the kitchen. We arrived about 10pm and there was free coffee, decaf and tea, which seems to be available all day. We booked here because […] of the kitchen in the room (and the price we got from hotels.com)but there was also free breakfast. It was good enough. There was a different breakfast each morning like mainly muffins or waffles, with the usual bread, cereal and fruit. The free laundry facilties in the hotel came in handy when we decided to stay an extra night, and we only packed for one night. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would've given it 5, but the kitchen could be updated and an extractor fan added to the bathroom. It is a quiet neighbourhood (which was ok for us) as we went on the Labor day weekend and it is situated in a business district. Intel is opposite to the entrance of the hotel. It is about 20 mins from the International Test Rose Garden, so a car is needed. All said we would book here again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"good value for quick overnight stay."
Nice open room layout with kitchenette. Staff was very friendly. The complementry breakfast room was tight and access to the minimal food servings was not well layed out. The entire lobby and common area was poorly designed. But then again, I am an arachitect and flow of space is something I am really critical of.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nice Neighborhood"
Having read all the good reviews for this hotel, I decided to book our reservation here. Unfortunately, I was a little disappointed upon arrival. The lobby was difficult to get through with luggage and the doors were not automatic. This may not seem like a big deal, but when you have a few bags to bring in, its just kind of a pain. The entryway is small […] and you have to maneuver your luggage around a table and chairs in order to get around the corner to the reception desk. The rooms look nothing like the pictures shown on the internet, pretty outdated. Our heat/air conditioning unit did not seem to work properly. I don't think it was a case of operator error, since I have an identical heating/cooling unit in my business. Overall the hotel was decent, but I expected better conditions due to the price of the room. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Thank Lakespur...GREAT experience!"
The Lakespur was a great experience, we al loved the "condo" like rooms and the staff was great. They helped us find restaurants, shipped us a forgotten toy (my kids are very happy) and the cleaning staff was wonderful too. We even extended our stay. We originally booked through Expedia and the hotel had us book our extended night through Expedia as […] well- we requested booking directly with them as it would have made things a lot easier on us but apparently it's their policy and they wouldn't book it directly (only complaint on our end) Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

Great workers who are very friendly. I enjoyed having a kitchen and not having to do dishes (service in the morning did it). Pros: printer is available, free breakfast, free cookies, close enough to Portland (<30min) Cons: there is nothing to do in Hillsboro.Genuine Expedia guest review
