We visit Estes Park a several times a year, this hotel allows dogs and we bring our kids and our little dog. The rooms are clean, the pool is nice, and we can sit outside the room and watch the kids swim. It is clean, (a bit dated) the location is great and it is quiet and staff is friendly!

Overall the hotel seemed very nice and friendly. Our main problem was that the pool heating system had broken prior to our stay and it was too cold to swim. My wife was very disappointed as she mainly wanted to swim with our 2 year old while we were there. They would not even put their feet in. Thankfully the hot tub was still working and we could relax […] in there, but it was too hot for my son. The timing was unfortunate for us and even though it was fixed during our stay, it did not warm up enough over the 24hrs we were there. Everything went really Great until the next morning. It started with House Keeping waking us up early with continuous knocking on our door and others until someone answered and then Cold then Hot then Cold Showers, both of which we have never experienced before and find completely unacceptable.

We were very happy with this hotel for part of our vacation. Its extremely convenient to Rocky Mountain National Park. While the property is a little older than most of the new properties that I stay on business, its well maintained. This hotel was nice. Not great. Not bad. I was there in the off season but I imagine it can be quite busy during the high season. You're close, probably walking distance in good weather, to the downtonw Estes Park area. The hotel is showing some age, but that's to be expected. Front desk was able to provide me with all kinds of usefule tips.

This motel location is wonderful, we walked everywhere. The visitor center is close and we could take the bus to Rocky Mtn. National Park. Staff was helpful. The biggest concern was the elevator which worked, at best, 50% of the time. Of course, if there had been a fire, we wouldn't have used it anyway.

This is an older property, used as a conference hotel. However, it has a great location to the riverwalk and the Estes Park Visitor Center in 10-12 minutes, accessed by a walkway that goes under the road, just past a pedestrian bridge over the Thompson River. If you choose not to have breakfast at the hotel, you can walk 12 minutes to several locations: […] Kind Coffee, Starbucks (opens at 5:30am!) The Egg and I, and others. For dinner we recommend Ed's Cantina and Cooper's.The King room was spacious and has Wolfgang Puck coffee packets. We had a good visit at the hotel. Room was nice, clean, and comfy. We had to rent a fridge for small fee per night, which was fine with us. Didn't try the pool or any of the amenities. Close to downtown, but a bit too far to walk with a toddler. Still nice to be very close drive to downtown. Would be a great stay to get to the fairgrounds.

You really can't beat the location. Right in the middle of Custer State Park with convenient access to everything. My only complaint is that it is overpriced. I've stayed in nicer, less expensive places in some of the major cities of the world.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Very conveniently located and friendly service. We met people from other states at the bar where complimentary wines and beers are served from 3:30-5:00 p.m. The bar waitress was very personable and remembered us and our drink orders from the night before. We also enjoyed a delicious dinner in the hotel restaurant. […] There were only a few people in the restaurant, which was a shame, because the food was excellent. We had a couple of problems in our room, but one call to the desk and presto, maintenance was at the door and fixed the problems immediately. The ice machine on our floor was not working, so again,one call to the desk, and presto, someone was at the door with a bucket of ice. We were very satisfied with our stay in beautiful Estes Park! I was not satisified at all. For an overpriced rate, we were put on the third floor. There was no elevator or bellhop to help get our luggage (including an infant's car seat and luggage) up two flights of stairs. Our room had no microwave or refrigerator (available at extra cost). Our bathtub/shower did not drain properly because there was dark hair […] clogging the drain. Our room was next to the maintenance room and we could hear workers' voices from the vent above our bathroom sink. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Read more
