The room was very clean and included a good size fridge that was also clean. The service was great as we were able to check in early. The bar, pool and beach area was very nice and the area was limited to hotel guests only which kept it from getting too busy. Hotel is very nice. Loacted in a serene area. Large facility. Pristine in terms of cleanliness throughout--parking lots, lobby, rooms, dining , fitness room. Located right on Old Silver Beach. Dining room has excellent views of the beach. We rested very well here.

I was very diasppointed with the room. This was my first time booking with Hotels.com. The first room we got was musty and the bathtub had stains in it and the window did not open. We had requested a different room from one staff and they said they were "sold out". We went back a few minutes later and they moved us to a different room. The next room […] had plywood holding in the air conditioner, stained tub, and the room smelt like glue. After this room was worse, we asked to be able to get a different room. All they had available were suites, we were willing to pay extra for a different room because of the smell, but they said since we booked through hotels.com we could not change the room. The hotel is right on the beach, which is a HUGE plus. Woods Hole and Falmouth Center are a short drive away (15 minutes). Read more

My friend and I were very excited about our trip to Cape Cod, as I have very strong sentimental attachment to the area. We thought booking an oceanfront hotel would be a good idea. We had our first disappointment when we entered into our room. Nobody had told us that they somehow changed our reservation to a lower quality room. When we called the front […] desk they put us on hold forever so I went down there to talk to them in person. They were the most apathetic people I have ever seen. They simply told us they don't guarantee the room reservation when done thorough a third party. We originally booked for the fire place room, which is the biggest room with a king size bed. All we ever given was the smallest kind of room with two full sized beds. We were not given a receipt at the check out, either. When it comes to the overall quality of the hotel, I would like to say this hotel needs some serious maintenance. Floors, carpeting and elevator are from the past century. However, I enjoyed the cabana bar and the outdoor pool. Having a direct access to the beach was priceless. The hotel is conveniently located at Falmouth and there are a few signs on the road that direct the customers to the right route. Read more
