first room air conditioner faulty. Moved to second room. Not on clean list so missed a day. Three days later, missed another day of cleaning. Breakfast was fine as was the front desk.

I stayed there just for the location. Room was smelly, sofa sleeper was ready for the trash, hotel was pet friendly but not human friendly. There was dog feces on the carpet 8 feet from my door, barking dog next door and did not see housekeeping for lenght of entire stay. Had to call several times for clean towels and a very load AC. The room was decent. The hotel had a musty smell in hallways. There was no fridge in the room. One day housekeeping didn't finished their work in my room and left me without clean towels. The girls in the reception had a hard time trying to cover for faulty issues in the building all over such as dirty floors and not vacuumed carpets, room access locks will only read the supervisor key, the chairs at the desk are filthy, the speed or capacity of the internet service is poor and fail constantly.

There are 2 of these hotels right next to each other. I was disappointed that I was put in the one that was less nice. The curtains were broken in my room and would not close which made sun up facing east very unpleasant. There weren't enough towels for my family and I had to go down to the front desk to pick more up. This is a budget hotel. It offers a basic breakfast and is a short drive from sawgrass mills. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The carpet in the hallways upstairs could do with a thorough cleaning or replacement as it detracts from the hotel's good points- very friendly staff, decent location, value for money.

We thought the breakfast, compared to others, was skimpy. (small selection of fruit etc.) Coffee pot missing in our room. Extra towels would be nice, and soap and hair products. The fan in the bathroom is loud and irritating!!!!!!!!!!! We love the location. Next time, put us next door.

The smoke alarm went off about 6:00 a.m. waking us with a start. It lasted about 5 seconds and then went off. By then we were awake and shaken. When I reported it upon check out I was told this happens on occasion when they are fixing breakfast. The exhaust fan in the bathroom rattled so loud we could hardly carry on a conversation.

We stayed here one night to break up our trip to the gulf coast from Ft. Lauderdale. It is exactly what you would expect a La Quinta to be like. The continental breakfast was pretty good with one of those delicious belgian waffle makers!

For the price I paid, we could not expect too much, nowadays. The room is considered good for the price paid, but not good enough for its regular advertised price. Everything about this Hotel was ok, i mean for La Quinta standards everything about the property was good. Breakfast was fresh and readily available with lots of offerings. Room and Bathroom was clean. Ambiance was was satisfactory. Excellent location to shopping and 595 and i75 hywy. LQ,Sawgrass/Sunrise was a mixed experience for me. Firstly, my daughter and I had to walk across the street with all of our luggagae because my taxi had left me at the wrong property because there were two identically named hotels side by side. Secondly, the towels smelt really badly on my first night. i was too tired to complain. Thirdly, the Manager, […] when we went for breakfast Pedro told me that i needed to go back to my room since i got there at 9.05 am and breakfast was over at 9.00 am. I appreciated being allowed to take remaining food items. However, while in the room at least three other individuals came in and were allowed to have their breakfast without being asked to return to their room. My daughter is black, i am Indian, the other guests allowed to stay were caucasian/latino. This caused great embarrassment to my 14 yr old child who felt uncomfortable since the other guests were laughing . I feel it was discriminatory behaviour. Other than these events, i was pleased with the location, and especially with the friendliness , helpfulness and outstanding professionalism of Gladys, and the kindness of Shelly front desk staff. Meeting the receptionist was good, she was very friendly and helpful. Walking along the corridor leading to our room, the smell was musty and offensive. On reaching our room, the key was giving problems, had to change it. On entering the room, it was spacious and comfortable. It appeared clean and well maintained. However, on lying down, we noticed […] the ceiling fan had alot of dust and dirt on it. Probably overlooked by the maid. The outlet in which the heater and blow dryer plugs into, was not working. The beds were comfortable, the a/c working well, lighting nice and cosy. The welcome water and snacks was a nice touch. The next day the breakfast was good and replenished quickly by the receptionist. What put a damper to our stay was the problem we had with the toilet. It backed up, after reporting it, the receptionist assured us that it would be fixed when we returned after shopping for the day. After returning it seemed tobe fixed, until the next morning. It overflowed and spilled out of the toilet, when we called from our room to inform them of our plight, the receptionist told us to turn of the water line and gave my daughter towels to put on the ground to absorb the water. She assured us that it would be fixed. We stepped out for an hour, and returned only to find the wet towels and dirty ground still there. We were checking out in three hours time, so we had to tiptoe to bathe in the very same bathroom. My children do not want to return to that place again. The staff, night and day, were both very polite. Other reviews of this hotel seemed to be mixed with concern to cleanliness of the room. I chose this one based on more recent reviews thinking that staff had changed; however, my room was loaded with disgusting things. There was hair, possibly pubic, in the tub, on the shower walls, long ones on towels. […] The bedding was cleaned, or smelled clean, but there were stains. The room smelled musty and there as sticky stuff on the carpet, like syrup. Upon close examination, you could see streak marks left behind from obviously careless cleaning of the room to match the rest of it. I was tired, the guy at front desk was so nice that I didn't want to bother him, so I just took a sleeping pill and nigh nigh I went. The bed was very comfortable. The plumbing drained well. O Hotel está a 50 minutos do Aeroporto Internacional de Miami. mas fica a 2km do Sawgrass e Walmart. Para quem procura um lugar com preço razoável, bom quarto, com café da manhã, limpo e próximo ao principal ponto de compra... vale a pena! A única coisa foi a Internet wireless que falhava muito no quarto, mas parecia não ser um problema para todos.

El hotel esta muy bien ubicado para ir al Sawgrass Mills Mall. En general es un poco antiguo y por fuera se ve mal cuidado pero al entrar a las habitaciones están muy limpias y bonitas. El desayuno es bueno. El precio relacionado con la calidad es bueno. Y las personas de recepción son amables.
