Located in New York (Midtown West), YOTEL New York at Times Square is a family-friendly hotel close to Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, Toys 'R' Us Times Square, and New Amsterdam Theater. Also nearby are Times Square and Broadway.

This 3.5-star hotel features business amenities including a business center, small meeting rooms, and limo/town car service. Rooms have city views. The 669 air-conditioned guestrooms at YOTEL New York at Times Square include laptop-compatible safes and safes. Complimentary wireless and wired high-speed Internet access is provided. 32-inch LCD TVs are equipped with cable channels and free movie channels. All accommodations provide desks and phones with voice mail; free local calls are offered (restrictions may apply). Bathrooms offer showers with rainfall showerheads, hair dryers, and complimentary toiletries. Additional amenities include irons/ironing boards and windows that open.
Children staying free must occupy the parent or guardian’s room with existing bedding and may not be eligible for free breakfast (if one is offered).
The name on the credit card used at check-in to pay for incidentals must be the primary name on the guestroom reservation.

"Well-designed and very interesting "green" hotel"
I would definitely stay at the Yotel again. The single drawback is the odd location which isn't bad, but isn't terribly convenient to a lot of NY sites. But the hotel itself is spotless, well-maintained, has really interesting "cabins" as the rooms are called, lots of forward-feeling technological advantages. There's a charging station (free) for cellphones […] in the lobby, large-monitor computers for guest use, an avant garde baggage storage system and in-room beds that move into a chaise formation for watching TV. "One area of deficiency"
Cute, small, tidy, nicely appointed. One problem, okay, 2 issues. There was a little mold on the caulking of the shower and behind the sink. A little bleach would fix it. The galley (kitchen) on our floor had a coffee machine that didn't work, we had to go to the floor below. "Good Hotel -- One Quibble with Design"
Had an excellent 3 night stay. Room was fine (Queen Cabin) and very clean. Employees were courteous and helpful. My one quibble is with the elevator design whereby all guests need to take two elevators to get to their rooms (one from ground to 4th floor, other from 4th floor to room). This made the "time to ground" and "time to room" very unpredictable […] -- it pushed towards 10 minutes during busy check-in and check-out hours. I stayed at the hotel for 7 nights (Dec 26-Jan2). I arrived on an early flight, and they were able to check me in by 9:30am. For a small room, the design of the room was great. I loved the heated towel rack! The front desk and concierge were extremely helpful. When the concierge was off duty, the front desk printed out menus of local vegetarian friendly […] places for me and gave post it notes for directions to my spa appointment. "Sleek modern room with trendy services"
Not your average hotel. Built for the young traveler on the go. Lots of plugs for your devices. Room was clean and well maintained. Nice shower and modern decor. The arrangement of the space was a bit odd, but it's amazing how little space they manage to fit everything into. Each floor conveniently has a "galley" with ice, water and drinks. Free muffins […] and coffee for breakfast was a nice touch. They also have this cool robotic arm which is part of the system that stores your luggage after checkout, as well as computer terminals for checking in and out (and humans around all the time to help if needed).
