    This trip to NYC was to visit Madison Square Garden for a NY Rangers and Montreal Canadians game. As a huge NY Ranger fan I set this trip up so my buddy... (A Montreal Fan) could attend his first NHL game at MSG. I chose the Intercontinental for the price and close proximity to the Garden. The hotel was a short 12 minute walk or a 5 minute cab ride. Having stayed in NYC on several occasions I was surprised by the size of the room. Most NYC hotel rooms are on the smallish size since space is a premium in NY. The Intercontinental rooms were more like a normal sized room in other major cities. The bed was very comfortable and the hotel staff were very friendly and addressed me by name which was impressive for such a short stay. The lobby bar was also very nice with a fireplace and lots of comfortable seating for post game wine and snacks. Times Square is just a 3 minute walk away which was also great for the obligatory Facebook "Here we are at Times Square" pics. I would highly recommend the Intercontinental at Times Square.     We three (3) sisters were celebrating one's birthday. It would have been nice if housekeeping remembered everyday that there were THREE of us, and we could have had coffee for three, three cups, etc. There were plenty of towels; that was nice! The room could get very cool; that was wonderful.

    The room & facilities were very good. The front desk was horrible. Almost walked out and found another hotel based purely on the service at the front desk. The overall rating is lowed to 3 based entirely on the Front Desk. We were only there for one night and the front desk made it uncomfortable.

    I would definitely stay at the Intercontinental in Times Square again. The location was very convenient. The room was larger than any other NYC hotel I've stayed at and the staff was friendly and helpful.

    I went to NYC for a girls trip and we chose to stay at the Intercontinental and it was amazing. They went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Upon arrival they upgraded our room to a higher level. When I made my reservation I called to let them know it was my girlfriends birthday. They sent a bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries […] to the room on our first night. The door guys were so friendly as they greeted us every time we came in and out. They also provided us with umbrellas as it was raining and we forgot to pack ours. The location is great and it is very easy to catch a cab. I will be back soon! Read more

    This is the second time I have stayed at the Intercontinental! Its the newest hotel in the best location for Midtown and Hell's Kitchen. Service was spectacular. The computer in our room was broken, and they replaced it immediately! This is only place I stay in NY!

    This is a great hotel very close to the theatre district and Time Square. Even as close as you are to the 'action', it is a very quiet hotel. I highly recommend this hotel and will stay here again.
