Wall Street comes to life before dawn as traders rush to Lower Manhattan to make and break deals. But finance is just one aspect of Lower Manhattan, where colonial churches stand next to skyscrapers. Within the district, rebuilding continues at Ground Zero. At Battery Park, ferries depart for Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty, America’s beacon of freedom.

"Great Value and Price"
We had a very nice stay at the Club Quarters. We had 3 rooms in our party and all of the rooms were clean and well maintained. There was a taxi stand outside the building which was convenient. We would stay here again!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Clean, small rooms, great free bottled water"
Good place to stay in the Financial District. Rooms are a bit small, but adequate for 2 people. Had some issues with the A/C not working right for a while, but it may have just frozen up. The complementary chilled purified water and bottles with unlimited refills was a really nice perk.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

We waited over 30 minutes for our room to be cleaned when we arrived. We arrived at around 6 in the afternoon, I expected it to be clean by then.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"I'd like to keep this hotel a secret!"
Very nice hotel, clean, quiet and comfortable. Taxis available at all hours but you don't need them since the hotel is so close to the 2/3, 4/5 and A/J/Z subway lines. Area is crowded during the day; it's very quiet at night, but safe.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Quiet Wall Street Location"
Literally a 3 minute walk from Wall Street 2/3 Subway. Nice, clean quiet room with a nice staff.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Rooms are a little small but that is what you get in NYC. Very clean and location was great.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Needs some work"
Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. Staff was professional and friendly. My only complaint was the fitness room. It was in pretty rough shape. One on the elliptical machines was not operational, the other in such poor condition that I became frustrated after a few minutes of use. The "universal" weight machine's cables kept catching on something so […] I was only able to lift things half way. I gave up after a few reps. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
I have stayed at the Club Quarters many times - when I come to NYC for work. Perfect for corporate stays. The suites are great for a longer stay since they have small fridges and microwaves and are bigger in size, especially compared to other hotels in the area. Overall comfort I would rate in the middle - not the most homey, comfortable room - the […] lights are very intense and you kind of feel like you're staying in an office. But overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel - you can't beat the cost for what you get and it's in a very convenient location in downtown. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great weekend spot"
I usually stay here when I come to the city for a weekend. It is close to many subway stops and away friom the tourist midtown area that is so commercial. It is an easy walk to the Battery Park area, which has access to Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island ferries. The World Trade center site, Wall St. andTrinity Place are also walkable. The restaurants […] in the area are very good and widely vary price. The hotel itself is clean, modern, comfortable, quiet. The staff is very helpful. There is validated parking nearby. "Great base for taking in NYC! Subways handy!!"
I really love this little hotel. It has everything you need without charging you an outrageous rate. If you're planning to spend most of your time touring the city and you want some extra cash in your pocket for that, stay here and use the subway as much as possible!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"not fancy but comfortable and convenient"
my husband and i spent one night at club quarters on a quick stopover in nyc. we had a very comfortable stay. the hotel is small and low key and quite no-frills, but they had everything we needed and the service was friendly and efficient. our room was pleasant and acceptably clean - there was a bit of fuzz and dust in the corners of the carpet and […] a gouge in the bathroom sheetrock - with a small footprint and an extremely tall ceiling. the bed was comfortable. the water took a solid 10 minutes to warm up for an off-peak late afternoon shower, but once it did, the shower was lovely. the main draw is the combination of price (shockingly reasonable!) and location - within 3 blocks of half a dozen subway lines, and a 10 minute walk from pretty much anything you'd want to see or do all the way downtown. "Clean, nice but small rooms with great coffee bar"
They offer a great complimentary ground coffee bar in the hotel sitting room that makes coffee, lattes and cappucino. Subway stop is on the corner and nice restraunts/bars are within a few blocks.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Club Quarters Financial District"
The venue is in a great location! The room was very clean and extremely functional. I found this to be a tremendous value. The staff was great and helped to make my stay a very positive experience. The overall value was outstanding and I will stay at this venue again during future business, as well as presonal, trips to New York City!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Very convenient"
Thank you for the great hospitality. The one thing we were very concerned about was the security, we could not have felt more safe in this hotel. Nice room and very clean. Another plus to this hotel was being able to store your baggage once you have checked out to allow you to continue your sightseeing. The one negative is having to pay $60 for parking […] while staying at the hotel. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"battery park instead of times square"
Accommodations were great in every way! So much to see other than typical midtown touristy times square. History, tradition, and fun abound all around the financial district. Dinner was terrific at Delmonico's, and just a taxi ride away from Gypsy Kings at the Beacon. Wonderful walking and brunch on Sunday by Miss Liberty. A great weekend getaway!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"great experience"
nice...Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We were a little leery about booking this hotel based on some of the reviews, but we were very happy with the hotel. The room was a good size for NYC and was very comfortable. We had a small refrigerator and microwave in our room. The location was great, very close to the subway and a 24 hour grocery/drug store. Lots of freebies that you pay for in […] other hotels (bottled water, wifi, etc). We liked the Guest Supply Closet where you can help yourself to extra pillows, blankets, coffee, tea, etc. Had people in rooms on both sides of us and only heard them one time (door closing). The attached restaurant was very poor (mediocre, overpriced food), but there are other options nearby. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

I had a WONDERFUL stay at Club Quarters. Things I loved: 1. size of room- I stayed in a 1 queen room with a sofa bed and kitchenette, and it was huge! Definitely had plenty of room to stretch out 2. Convenience- it was located almost immediately next to a subway entrance that goes into Manhattan. 3. Amenities- I thought it was cool that you could get […] fresh bottled water, extra pillows/towels/sheets, etc from a closet on each floor instead of constantly having to call the front desk. Also, there was a nice little snack bar on the 1st floor near the coffee machine that we didn't discover until checkout but it was nice :) 4. price- NYC is EXPENSIVE, but this is a definite bargain. Sure, it is not in the heart of Manhattan but paying >$300/night to be near everything opposed to $179/night with $2.50 subway ride seems like a no brainer to me. Things I didn't particularly care for: 1. Shower- my shower seems to take a while to get hot and to turn on, but once it did it was fine. 2. Customer Service (somewhat)- I called a few days prior to my trip to confirm my reservation and I feel the representative I was speaking to was not very nice and acted as though I was burdening her with questions. However, once I arrived and completely my stay I never encountered another problem and all the reps were great. So I'll just consider my initial impression a fluke. Overall, I would definitely, definitely stay here again and I would encourage anyone to do the same! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"A Solid Choice"
If economy is your priority, this is the place for you. It's a clean, well-run hotel with decent-sized rooms for the price. Just don't let them put you on the "penthouse" floor, which is served by only one elevator. But for not so much more you can find more gracious lodgings in this neighborhood.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"A very nice and affordable Manhattan hotel."
A very nice and affordable Manhattan hotel. Unusual things like friendly staff, complimentary bottles of water and coffee all day long make it very attractive. Room was just about the perfect size for a couple. My room was particularly a bit noisy because it was in the lift hall area and door sound isolation was very poor so I could hear people talking […] outside as if they were inside of the room. Other than that, a perfect place to stay. Wall street might not be NYC's best location for someone on holidays, but there are many close public transportation services available. "Value Centric Hotel"
Super efficient and knowledgable staff. Jesse, Liz and other front desk associates were all very professional, friendly and extremely helpful! The Club Quarter's location is superior to any that I stay in considering its close proximity to Wall St. and the 2 & 3 train lines. Leo's Bakery is a few blocks away as is the Killarney Pub. Stone St., Pearl […] St. and Hanover St. are chock full of pubs, bars, restaurants...my favorite being the Fraunce Tavern. Enjoy your stay. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Good price, bad service"
This is a very nice hotel that often has great rates on weekends. It's right next to the 2 & 3 subway lines and Stone Street restaurants and bars. Make sure you get any towels or extra pillows before the day staff goes home, because the night staff promises but doesn't deliver. Also keep in mind that the walls/doors are pretty thin so you hear everything […] that happens in the next room. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
