The all-suite Conrad New York is located in the heart of Battery Park City, adjacent to the World Financial Center. The New York Stock Exchange is only four blocks from the hotel. Also nearby are the Statue of Liberty, South Street Seaport, and the Century 21 Department Store.
Hotel Features.
This glass-walled property features river views and a 15-story atrium in the lobby. The Conrad New York offers 30,000 square feet of meeting and event space. There are two ballrooms onsite, the largest of which holds up to 560 people, and 18 meeting room combinations. All meeting rooms and ballrooms are outfitted with the most up-to-date audiovisual equipment and guests can arrange for event catering through the hotel. A business center offers high-speed Internet access for a fee. The hotel's modern Mediterranean restaurant, Atrio, is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. A bar/lounge is also located onsite and room service is offered daily. This pet-friendly hotel is operated by a multilingual staff and also features a concierge desk, laundry services, and foreign currency exchange.

All of the 463 two-room suites at the Conrad New York overlook the surrounding cityscape. Each suite has a separate living room with a sofa, a work desk, and a one-touch integrated system for guests to control the vast array of technological amenities. Standard room features include two 42-inch LCD televisions with premium cable channels including HBO and ESPN, high-speed Internet access, multi-line cordless phones, iPod docks, minibars, espresso makers, and climate control. Premium toiletries are complimentary, and slippers and plush terry-cloth bathrobes are provided.

The Conrad hotel is absolutely gorgeous. I was a bit overwhelmed by the lobby itself - very clean, beautifully designed and very modern. The room did not disappoint. I personally enjoy the post modern furniture look and while I got the least expensive room available, it still had a parlor/living room with a TV, a beautiful bathroom, a separated shower […] that I joked could fit a small village (with 2 shower heads) and a large bedroom with an additional flat screen TV and a king size bed. My room was very clean, the hotel staff was very helpful when I arrived very early for check in and I would definitely return. We stayed for a bachelorette party overnight, and I wanted to find a place that had 2 beds and a spacious shared living room area. The double bed suite was perfect. It was much more affordable than other hotels in SoHo and midtown and had much more shared space. The beds and bathroom were also very comfortable and clean, and my only complaint was that the refrigerator can't be used to chill wine, it's a minibar and you'll be charged if you open it at all. They didn't come at all one day and when I informed the desk staff, I was told I must have had my privacy setting on and that's why my room was ignored. "Beautifully re-done suites hotel but concerns"
We had a lovely stay for seven nights at the Conrad with an adjoining room for our extended family that included a two-year-old. The service was excellent, the rooms were extraordinarily spacious for New York, but...the minibar restriction were insane for a family that needs cold milk for a baby. You may not move out items in the refrigerator to make […] room for the milk or you will be charged. Everything is on a sensor. It costs $25 to have the hotel empty the minibar and $25 for them to fill it up again. It also costs $25 to rent a refrigerator. There were NO refrigerators for rent. So that created some difficulty. Next, the rooms are not wireless and one must pay $14.95 per day for the service. Since the hotel is newly refurbished with the latest in engineering it is obvious that this was a marketing decision to gain more money from paying guests. Frankly, it seemed offensive and cheap, since it doesn't cost much to install wireless and many lesser star hotels provide that service. Last, it almost takes an engineering degree to operate the lights in the room. It's quite confusing, and easy to punch the wrong button resulting in rooms being lit up during the night that you want to remain dark. Regardless, it is a beautiful hotel, the restaurant next door, North End Grill, was fabulous, the bagels next door were also terrific, and having movie theaters inside the hotel was perfect for a stormy day. "Great stay by the Hudson"
The hotel is a short walk down to the pier overlooking the Hudson River and New Jersey, it is truely breathtaking. When my boyfriend and I walked into the Conrad nyc, I was astonished by the architecture and design of the hotel, it is probably the best architecture I have seen inside if a hotel, particularly for the price. The front desk was up a set […] of what appeared to be marble stairs, set in a lounge setting with couches and large circle peices of furniture. Check in was simple and only took about a min. We stayed on the 6th floor with a view of a shopping center/office building and also a view of the new World Trade Center. The room was absolutely AMAZING with a separate living room, bathroom, shower (which could fit about 6 people with a rainfall shower head) and speed ate bedroom. Both living room and bedroom have large tv's which display a welcome message with your name. The lights are all controlled by touch panels and the whole room overall is very high tech. The bed and linens where very comfortable along with the robe and slippers that come with the room. The bathing items all seemed to be from a boutique and were of high quality and smelled really good. The room also came with a sink and all sorts of glasses for drinks. Check out was simple and fast, taking only about 30 seconds. The only thing that I did not enjoy was a wake up call at 6am that I did not ask for. "Show and Go or More!!"
We arrived at the hotel at check in time and were greeted by friendly staff. It took maybe about two minutes before we were handed our room keys and pointed to the elevators. We went to our fith floor room and were amazed when we walked in at how beautiful and comfortable it looked. We didn't spend much time at that moment as we had a show to get to. […] We didn't get back to the hotel until later that night but were greeted by the pleasant doorman when we did arrive. We went to our room and had a fantastic nights sleep in the most comfortable bed. Waking the next morning, we wanted to put on a pot of water for tea while we were dressing. The pot was not there. my girlfriend called the desk and they brought one immediately appologizing profusely for it not being there. After we showered and dressed, we went up to the roof top bar, it was closed for the season, but we still went out to check out the views. Awsome! even though it was raining. We then went inside and viewed the atrium from the higher floor we were on and it was beautiful. Hey, it was beautiful from our floor as well as the entry way on the first floor. Unfortunately we didn't utilize any of the hotel dining as we were ready to get out for a little more sight seeing before we were to leave and checked our bags into the holding area until we were done for the day. My husband & I stayed here on a Saturday night. We picked this hotel because we were going to a party down the block. The hotel was very modern and clean.
