upon being shown our room noted we were given a queen bed and not the king bed as committed on our confirmation. Hours later was assigned the right room which was fine. Was in the other room so did not have to stay in lobby. All was good in assigned room but small and tight bathrooms. Staff throughout was pleasant and accommodating . I have stayed at the Trump before, but can't always afford to because it is expensive. However, when I can afford it, it is worth every penny! It is comfortable (luxurious even!), the staff is friendly, the location is amazing--what more can I say??

We rented the suite over Memorial Day weekend. Location is great and hotel is beautiful. However, we were annoyed with keys (had to go back 3 times to front desk because keys stopped working) and TV didn't work 2 out of 3 nights (they had some technical problems in whole hotel). I prepaid for the room. I requested an upper floor room at that time. I confirmed this several days prior to arrival. We were placed in a room directly over Columbus Circle. We were then placed in another room on an upper floor the following night where we stayed for the duration. The last night of the stay, upon the elevator doors opening at about […] 8pm, we were greeted with a large amount of noise. That night, at 330am there was a disturbance in the hallway. I phoned the front desk. Approximately 20 minutes later, I phoned the front desk again because of the amount of noise from the party in the room next door. The following morning at check out I informed the manager on duty of the events. Several days later, I was contacted by the general manager who informed me that a significant amount of damage was found in the room next door. I requested a refund for the last night's stay which was declined. Several days after that I received an email offering a free night's stay. I am very dissappointed. I feel that a gift certificate is not acceptable. I live in New England and currently have no plans to travel to New York in the next year. Even if I did, based on past performance, I cannot trust that any future experience would be pleasant or hassle free. In other words, to this point, I have not been given a reason to return. The Hotel seems dated and is not up to par with food and beverage service for the price tag they are charging. There is no real lobby to relax in and get any food or beverage service. The pictures of dining on the expedia site with a view are from private rooms and not a restaurant. Jean George with all it's accolades does not cover the needs of a hotel gathering spot. The food is excellent, but the atmosphere borders on boring and stuffy. Arrive at the end of a day out for a glass of wine or a cocktail and you feel like you are in a quiet library with no music. The restaurant also has limited hours which is strange for a hotel. For the price they need to take it up a notch. The selection of in room beverages are over priced and the wine choices pedestrian. I had expected something quite special from the PR image which Trump projects but this hotel was very average for the price. The location on Central Park is good, but one shared by many other hotels. The Trump in January has a draughty lobby containing four or five chairs and some mainly rather miserable staff - no other public areas at all. Service […] was polite but completely disinterested and in some cases actually off hand (on my arrival, the check in staff was being incredibly rude to another guest). The only one to smile was one of the bell men on our departure. The room (which did not have a park view - the ones on that side of the hotel may be better) was noisy and the bathroom, incredibly, slightly shabby and poorly equipped - there was a combined bath/shower, not even a separate hand shower on the taps and the plugs in the bath and in the basin beside it did not work so I had to call the engineer in while in my dressing gown. On the positive side, the fitness facility is superb, and the little kitchen was rather useful. Bed was also very comfortable. But you can get much better rooms for your money very close by. Significantly no one asked at any point how I was enjoying the stay. Read more

I stayed here with my 12 year old son for 4 nights. We received a wonderful welcome at check in, even though it was very late (1.30am) there was an excellent receptionist and we were offered a drink which was sent up to our room. We were shown to our room by our personal valet who explained how everything worked and made sure we were comfortable. 5* […] facilities, 5* staff and 5* service, Trump International makes you feel special. Complimentary tea & coffee in room, hand made chocolates every evening and excellent food. The hotel is located in Centre of Manhattern , opposite Central Park and 1 minute walk to the Subway (metro) so we were able to explore the city very easily. とても素晴らしいホテルでした。 コロンバスサークルというロケーションはどこに行くにも非常に便利で、バレエやオペラ鑑賞が好きな我が家には歩いてリンカーンセンターに行ける最高の立地でした。 お部屋は快適でフルキッチンがあったので近くのホールフーズマーケットで食材やデリを買ってきてお部屋で楽しむこともできました。 スタッフの方達は皆さんとても温かく接してくださり、思わず「ただいま！」と言えてしまう心地よさでした。 バスルームがやや手狭であったことと、ルームキーがエレベーターを含め扱いづらかったことだけが残念でしたが次回も是非利用したいと思います。
