Buildings crane above one another to claim views of Central Park, a piece of real estate valued at more than $528 billion. Surprises abound in its 843 acres. The grounds include a castle, a zoo, several lakes, and an Egyptian obelisk. A city that never sleeps needs its quiet time, too: Central Park has six designated “quiet zones,” including Strawberry Fields, the monument to John Lennon.

"Perfect in every way"
Absolutely charming and full of old-NYC attention to detail. The only issue I ever had was my room key not working. Elevators work quickly, decor is charming. Staff is wonderful. The TV in my bathroom mirror was amazing. Room service was prompt and surpassed my expectations.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Excellent hotel in a wonderful neighborhood"
Stayed here during Fashion Week. Since it is very close to the high end retail shops, there was a lot of action. One block away from Central Park, so I got a great jog in and I liked being away from the downtown hectic action. The room was very nice. Great bed and linens. Great tub too. I'd stay here again.Genuine Expedia guest review

"A lovely hotel ~ I will definitely go back!"
This was a find. I was upgraded at check-in (without asking). It is a boutique-style beautifully decorated and incredibly clean hotel. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The location is perfect ~ on the upper east side, steps away from Madison Avenue shopping! The restaurant is fabulous. Love, love, love the bathroom! I will definitely book there […] again my next trip! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
