Let the West Coast have Hollywood; Broadway’s lights are just as bright, and many screen actors come to the Great White Way to gain acting credibility. Area attractions include Carnegie Hall, Rockefeller Center, Radio City Music Hall, and the Museum of Modern Art. Resplendent St. Patrick’s Cathedral takes up a block at Fifth and 50th. Once seedy, Times Square now hosts ABC, MTV, and NASDAQ.

Room good size, clean , and quiet. Next door almost to MoMA. Breakfast over- priced.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"great location"
hotel was fine, nothing super special for the price, but seemed clean and relatively quiet, even with a large convention going on. I did think it was ridiculous to have to pay for wifi after charging such a lot of $$/night!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great Facility but not for the needy"
This is a great hotel! I highly recommend it. But make no mistake about, it if you require personal attention and handholding this place is just too enormous to accommodate your needs.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Easy to improve"
Very clean, food was great, fast room service, very polite. We didn't spend much time in the room, but I have to say that it was annoying that someone was trying to get in our room at least 5-6 times (room cleaning staff). No knocking, just opening the door, and then apologizing... I wonder how many times they tried to get in our room while we were […] gone...I hope they improve this, because it shouldn't be that difficult. Other than that, I would stay in this hotel again. "Disappointed by the rundown condition"
I had paid for a King bed room. Received a queen with 2 complimentary breakfast vouchers. The room was in bad shape. The whole bathroom ceiling was peeling. Bathtub drain stop was broken and the bathtub was badly scratched. The bath mirror was peeling and chipped. The bedsheets had holes all over. The breakfast area in the bar had rusting iron curtains […] that smelled awful. For a high priced Hilton this was in desperate need of renovations! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Landmark hotel is getting tired"
One of my favorite hotels in NYC for nostalgic reasons but the hotel is getting tired, the rooms never feel clean anymore and you have to wonder if it's really worth the price. Still it's incredibly convenient and I actually found the staff to be more friendly and helpful than in past years. Customer services matters to us and high marks for that.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"poor maintenance of bathroom facility"
the toilet was not functioning correctly for the entire stay even though someone came to fix it the bathtub took about half an hour to fully drain after a shower very disconcerting and poor for a hilton hotelGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"amazing location, great service"
We've stayed in the city many times and this was the first time splurging to this degree and staying in this area. We often stay in boutique hotels near the Empire State Building. I have to say, this location is amazing. So many options to grab some inexpensive, quick, delicious food at any time of day or night. Close to subways, short walking distance […] to so many things. And a continual taxi queue out front - so convenient. With the exception of one slightly surly interaction with a concierge, the service was all around fantastic. Clean, quiet - really couldn't have been better. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Pefrect location"
The location was PERFECT. Our stay focused on the City, and not the hotel itself. Thus, we didn't get to experience what the hotel had to offer. That said, I must note a few things. First, the mini bar was non functional and the door could not be opened. A screw was keeping the door shut intentionally. Our toilet ran ALL NIGHT. Opening the back cover […] revealed a leak that sprayed all over the place if the lid remained open. On the plus side, the street noise level was very low which made sleeping very easy. Overall soundproofing could be a bit better from floor to floor though. For the price per night, I feel a bit taken for. Room was very small. But it's NYC and everything is a pretty penny, so expect to dish out on a room. Overall, I'd recommend to those looking to spend the day out and about, not in their room. "A Week Away"
I've stayed at other hotels in the Times Square area but this by far was the best...just steps away from Central Park, MoMA, 5th Ave shopping and Times Square. I would stay here again and again! Plus...the bed and pillows were the absolute best. At home I sleep very poorly: require complete darkness, have an aching back and get up throughout the night. […] In this bed, I slept through the night, back never ached, was even able to sleep with the drapes open and the city lights shining and still woke up extremely rested. Where do you get those pillows??? Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Good location"
The hotel was quiet and comfortable until the mass of Italian kids checked in. I'm not sure what they were there for but it was a huge disruption for us. The kids were unruly, running and screaming up and down the hallways. Although this was not in the hotels control, it made the stay a little less pleasant. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Simply perfect"
The stay was great and everything was perfect. Keep in mind that food is a little expencive at the hotel and if you are driving in expect to pay about $51.00 plus tax a day for parking at the hotel. Can not stress the fact enough that this hotel is perfect.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Long lines to check in ceiling in bathroom falling down have to pay $14.00 per day for wifi better off somewhere else to stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Terrible Room this time"
Booked a room with a king bed and got one with 2 doubles - also when we woke up in the morning- we opened the curtains and were staring right a HUGE A/C unit blocking our window! I think when you book through a third party agency at a discount they give you the worst room they can get away with.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Perfect"
This hotel was perfect for our visit to NYC. The location is fantastic (close to Central Park, Times Square, Broadway, neighborhoods, subway lines, & TONS of great restaurants). We had a nice room that was clean, relatively quiet, and the hotel staff were friendly. I will DEFINITELY go back.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Right Next to Broadway Shows and a great price!!"
We went there to see a broadway show and it worked out perfect. Restaurants, shops, and the theater were all within blocks of the hotel. The staff called and made our dinner reservations. It has a hotel bar and restaurant inside the hotel as well. The room was clean and enjoyable. I would recommend staying here.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Newy York Hilton"
We recently went to NYC to see the Christmas Show and decided to try the Hilton New York. What a great place! The hotel was clean, the location could not have been more perfect and the parking was onsite. We were only streets away from Time Square, St. Patricks Cathedral, Madison Avenue, shopping on 5th Avenue and 3 blocks from Radio City Music Hall. […] If you needed a cab, you just had to walk out the front door and they were all lined up waiting for you. We plan on going back to the city every Christmas and will definitely stay at the Hilton NY. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Hilton Hotel New York"
The Hotel is a beautiful hotel. Very accessible to all the sights. Only thing I was a little annoyed about was the elevators. You had to wait any where from 10 - 16mins sometimes for the elevator. Our room was on the 35 floor, we could hear the elevator going up and down our room was next to the elevator shaft- very noisey!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great Hotel, Great Location"
If you want to be in the middle of it all then stay at the Hilton. We only spent a weekend, but we had access to everything from the front door. There was a broken elevator, which meant we needed to plan a little extra time to leave the hotel, but aside from that everything was awesome and our anniversary was wonderful. I will stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
