While there were renovations being carried out during our stay, it didn't bother us as we were out & about sightseeing most of the time. We were very happy with our room as it had just been refurbished and I believe we were the first to stay in it. It was spotless, bright & nicely furnished. Our time there was great, its close to grand central terminal and there is a subway station 3 blocks away, the staff is really friendly, the only problem was that when we got there our room wasn't ready and it was some hours after the time we could have check in so I'm glad we arrived late, because of that problem they gave us courtesy breakfast which […] was nice. The restaurant that is downstairs i don't recommend it, the food is no great and is way too expensive. The room and hotel well really clean, there is free wifi on the lobby but not on the rooms. Our stay in the hotel at night was rather restless -- the mattress was sunk in from repeated use and the walls were paper thin; this led to us being able to hear every bathroom use from all adjoining rooms.

The Lexington has a great location...its near everything that someone visiting NYC wants to be close to. My wife and I stayed there 2 nights while visiting NYC the week before Christmas. We weren't really in the hotel much due to the fact that we were sight-seeing most of the time. The room was decent sized for NYC, some of the negatives are that it […] seemed like the walls were paper-thin....we could hear everything that went on in the hallway. Door slamming, people talking as if they were right in our room. During the night we also heard a consistent sound that sounded like someone was banging on a pipe with a wrench. The sleep-number bed was somewhat comfortable but the bed was very loud whenever you moved on it or rolled over. Neighborhood was very nice and we felt safe walking everywhere, overall a 3-5 just because of the location. If it was anywhere else I would not recommend the Lexington. Read more

Room was very small. Morning housekeepers were very loudly talking in the hallway (particularly in Chinese, Spanish). Glasses were consistently unclean when replaced. Cost was similar to other hotels (of friends in the area) that were much nicer. Front desk personnel were not especially friendly. These matchbox rooms are okay if you won't be in there much and are solo. The Full bed would be tough for two used to a queen or better. Easy walk to Grand Central for Shuttle to Times Sq. Or you can walk 3 blks North for lines unavailable at Grand Central. Staff generally friendly.

The gaurd of the hotel valed when I checked in but when I was checking out he said he cannot bring the car our because he has to gaurd the hotel. There is no parking in the hotel and you end up paying a lot.

I travel extensively and this is the WORST hotel I have stayed in in over twenty years. We received the first room five hour after the scheduled check in time and the second shortly before midnight even though the rooms were pre-paid. The hotel is walking distance to Grand Central and a lot of tourist sites. Friendly front desk. Highly recommend junior suite. Very spacious especially for NYC. we were staying at the Radison durring the New York hurricane and the staff there provided 5 star service. we stayed in 3ifferent rooms durring our 5 day stay and all where well maintained and clean. they also offer sleep number adjustable beds which were excellent!

they say timing is everything and ours was bad. we checked in to the Radison on the 25th just before the hurricane hit, i 'm very thankfu wel chose this hotel. The staff and management bent over backwards to help with upgrades and changes that made a otherwise bad situation a great one. when i return to N.Y this is where i'll stay.

This is a moderately priced hotel and the amenities seem to be in keeping with the prices. The reception was very courteous and efficient. I booked a guest room in the belief that it would be better than a normal room. There was nothing to justify that belief both in terms of size and amenities. The rate for the Radisson was extremely competitive and my daughter and I booked it because we did not expect to stay there except to sleep. We weren't expecting a high-end hotel and we definitely didn't get one either. The deluxe room was more than spacious enough for two and sharing a full size bed with my daughter wasn't bad. The issues were the […] old dingy carpet that I hesitated to walk on bare-foot, water damaged areas in the bathroom which had major cracks and rot on the base boards and around the mirror. Water flow is what you would expect from an old hotel, inconsistent water temp. The major issue was with our neighbors. Remember it's a low rate hotel and thus can/will have potentially unsavory people accross the hall. On our 2nd night, the room accross the hall must have had 20-30 entry/exits into their room from 2:30 am - 6am. Each entry/exit was accompanied by a major slamming of the door that rattled the walls. I am not exaggerating. Add to this extremely loud chatter, screaming and pounding on the door/wall lead to no rest and extreme frustration. After an hour of this we called the front desk to complain but to no avail, the hooligans continued to ruin the entire floors rest for the subsequent 3 hours. IMHO, if you pay more it would be unlikely that you run into this type of behavior. Read more

The room was perfect... I could not believe I got a grat room for the price in NYC. Clean, roomy, and just 2 blocks from the subway 6... Staff was extremely helpful. Would recommend getting a queen size bed for king for two people.
