"Finally, A good NY hotel"
Finding a hotel in NY that is not exceedingly expensive is a difficult task. While this hotel is certainly not budget level, for its room condition, service and location, it is excellent value. "Saturdays"
Very small rooms. Service is not as good as I had in other hotels. Employes are not friendly and rooms not equipped good. Never ask for walk up call, because they came and opened the door while we were a sleep and scare us. That is very low and unprofessional. Motel 6 won't do anything like that. Cons: Did not get the city view room I thought I'd secured in my reservation, but did not have the time to deal with it. The bar is not very good if you're hoping for a place to relax and watch TV after a long day. Pros: Terrific location, great staff, quiet and relatively private. "Exceptionally friendly staff"

I liked the price of the room too. I travel to NYC often and prices often determine where I stay. "Room was so comfy, I didn't want to leave"
We had a premium room on the 18th floor, which featured windows that opened. The a/c had a dank moldy smell, so we turned it off and opened the windows.
