Don't expect much with the room rent that you pay for a night, this being the cheapest hotel in the neighborhood. We had rented a 2 double non-smoking room and both the beds were squeaky, there were no toiletries provided in the room except the handsoap, the bathroom door lock was broken and there was clogging in the washbasin. "Absolutely Awful!!"
We stayed on the lower level of the hotel, which they were getting ready to remodel. The staff had taken the old dressers out and put in new ones, but the new dresser was just the parts, so we had no place to store anything. The shower is about 6 inches off the ground, and because I am so short, I was unable to reach the inside of the tub and the floor […] at the same time, resulting in a fall. When I told the staff about it, they were completely unsympathetic and rather rude about the entire thing and didn't ask if I was even ok (which I was, but the point is they didn't care). I am 80 years old and felt I could rely on expedias hotel star rating as I have in the past . Expedia gave it a 3.7 rating out of 5. It does not even deserve a rating of one star. Altthough I had prepaid as required at checkin I refused to stay and requested a refund which was refused. The lobby and room smelled of insecticide which made me suspect […] bedbugs and or roaches. A bowl of rotten apples was set out in the lobby. A noisy group of young adulds was congegrated in the rear of the hotel. There was no security present. This hotel was horrific!! 2 consecutive days we returned to our room to find it not cleaned! One @ 5pm another @ 9:30pm and no one at front desk to answer phone to request cleaning.We had to go to front desk to request the cleaning. After a day in the room we found a baby sippy cup with fluid in it on floor along with bobbie pins and beads from a broken […] necklace indicating that carpet had not been cleaned between guests!! The room had been smoked in, even though we had asked for non smoking. It smelled very strongly of odor sanitizer.The shower would not turn on and when we got it on, it leaked every where.
