"Good stay"
This hotel was side by side with other hotels but was less costly. I decided to give it a try and was pleased with our stay. The breakfast was the only part of the stay which could have been better, as the coffee was lukewarm at best. Hotel was very clean and neat. The pool was very nice but the slide was unprotected. People was getting hit by the people sliding down the slide because there was no barrier at the bottom keeping passer bys at bay. Comfort Inns are our budget hotel of choice, however, they tend to vary in "niceness." This one was definitely a nice Comfort Inn, and we would consider staying here again if we're back in the area. That being said, we're realizing that we should probably bring our own pillows because these were too soft and a bit lumpy. The water park was really […] nice, but if you have downtime during the day, I'd suggest checking it out then - it gets REALLY crowded in the evenings. If you have younger kids, it's a little nerve-wracking because everyone else is horsing around when your toddler is trying to enjoy the water as well. We stayed in room #401. It would have been a great room except for the following: the bathroom door squeaked loudly every-time it was opened or closed, the TV had a bad picture, the sheer curtains closed all the way but the heavier set of curtains are not installed to close at all. My daughter has enrolled in Kent State for the Fall and we needed a hotel close by Kent and this was convenient, about a 10 min. drive. Very clean hotel, courteous staff. Good business center, although it needed a second chair and paper clips. Those with kids will find the attached water park a great feature. Overall the hotel was very good. The pool was awesome and a big plus when it's cold outside. The room and hotel was clean, however the heater rattled every time it clicked on so we had to prop a chair against it to stop the noise.
