Overall, everything was fine... Condition of facility is great for the price. Clean, updated, roomy. Only complaint was they put me in a handicapped room, and I am not handicapped. Although the clerk showed me the room's designated parking, I refuse to park in handicapped parking because I am not handicapped. Had to park quite a ways from room, and […] although I didn't feel a safety concern walking to room at night, I prefer to have my car closer to room. Bathroom is set up for someone in a wheelchair and is a bit of a challenge for an upright person. I know this sounds silly, but for upright people, the shower spout was too low, water got all over the floor every time I showered due to no tub, and bathroom door is meant to be closed when at vanity, but I prefer the bathroom door to be open when getting ready because it keeps bathroom cooler. "great hotel for the price"
Everything was pretty great. But the room had a musty smell like it was once a smoking room. The bed was soft but the pillows were uncomfortable. They were stingy with their towels we had four people in the room, me my wife and two kids, and they only had two towels in the rooms and when we asked for more they only gave us one more. The pool was OK […] but had way too much chlorine in it. The main thing I would change about our room was that it would have a small refrigerator. And I wish we could have parked outside our room. We had to park in the front when our room was on the side. Fantastic beds! Nicely appointed bathroom and sink surfaces. Great continental breakfast. Swimming pool was ok; smaller than photo and location offered no privacy whatsoever. Found a broken lamp in our room and reported it to the front desk; but not sure if the hotel was planning to charge us for beaking it although we didn't. That was unpleasant.
