Wyndham Tulsa

Our room was excellent. No microwave or fridge, so I'll be bringing an ice chest next time. But, the bed was very comfortable. The sleep number wouldn't adjust but it felt awesome none the less. The shower head had wonderful pressure. We didn't take advantage of the room service or restaurants available. I did buy a beer from the bar and it was $5.70, […] ouch! Another reason I would bring an ice chest next time. I asked for a crib for our 2 year old on the way out to eat and they delivered to our room. It was there when we returned. They had an AWESOME splash pad for our 2 year old. I would imagine it would be good for 1 year to 12. It had something for everyone! It wasn't the cleanliest thing of course, a pool for children and all. My biggest complaint is the lack of towels available in the pool area. There weren't any for 2 out of the 3 times we visited the pool! We had to bring the ones from our room and then didn't have any clean ones to bathe with. =( Overall, though a great experience! We decided if we are ever back in the Tulsa area we will stay here. (Bring our ice chest and own towels) I mean, a splash pad with 2 slides and a hot tub?! How cool is that!? Read more

Hotel was nice for adults & kids. Indoor pool w/ water slides was awesome for the kids...& hotel was nice with room service. Bar also conveniently in hotel, even though we didn't get to go. Rooms were spacious & clean. I liked that their rooms had two queen sizes vs other area hotels have full size beds and charge more for their nightly rate. The pool area was great for smaller children. The hotel seems to have been recently remodeled, so everything looks new. The restaurant was not great, however. We would not eat there again. Overall this was a great stay, with only a couple of exceptions. The wifi didn't work in my room, and the front desk was not very helpful, both times I asked about it. Also, the Sunday buffet in the coffee shop was expensive and pretty tasteless. I was kept waiting 10 minutes for a table in a mostly vacant restaurant. This was a wonderful hotel, very clean. But the bed was the most uncomfortable thing I had ever slept on. It was like sleeping on a hard board. The kids loved the little water park. The breakfast at there restaraunt wasn't worth the money that I paid. But I would stay there again just for the kids water area!

Wonderful customer service at the front desk! They made sure I received the room accommodations that were most important to me. I didn't realize the front desk service closed and when I tried to contact someone by phone from the room it surprised me when no one answered after midnight. So, I would say check in early and be sure to pull the covers back […] and make sure you have clean sheets (wasn't my hair) and that you have a full set of towels (needed another washcloth) to take a shower. Hotel was convenient to freeways. The rate through Hotels.com was very good. We didn't have an opportunity to try the amenities, but they appeared to be maintained. They had free WIFI but it was unusable (not an uncommon problem in many hotels I've stayed at). Luckily I had an Ethernet patch cable for my laptop, and there was a modem in the room. My stay was for two nights. I booked through Expedia so check-in was a breeze. Staff was friendly but professional. My friends and I were given adjoining rooms. Our only problem was with the key-cards. We made three trips back to the front desk before we had one workable card for each door even though two cards were issued for each door. Staff apologized […] advising us we could call from the floor phone and they would bring cards to us if we had additional problems. Which we did the second night when cards failed to work again. Our rooms were clean, comfortable, and orderly. We did note that room service dishes were in hallway when we came in for the evening and were still there when we left about 8:30 am the next morning. The parking lot and community around the hotel had a "safe"feeling. One evening we dined within a block of the hotel and some of our group walked back to the hotel. We booked during a weekend that apparently had some type of family reunion/birthday party going on. The rooms were clean however and Kendra at the front desk was one of the best desk customer service reps i've ever encountered. She is definitely an asset to Wyndham. Walls to rooms are thin....you could hear activity.

The front desk employees were very nice and helpful. We were greeted pretty far away from the desk so by the time we got to the counter to check in we had to ask her what it was she said. We can't ask for a better hotel stay. The front desk clerk was very nice/courtesy and explained things in details. However, the wait/check in time is a whole different story and not what one would expect from Wyndham. We got to the hotel around 2:20 for a family event (300-400 guests)...she said we can't check in yet because the rooms were not avail, […] which is fine and we understand. We asked to be checked in anyway n let us know when the rooms become avail. We waited 20-30 to be checked in because there was only ONE front desk clerk on a BUSY Saturday afternoon??? Then a second person showed up to help...still the line was long and customers were getting frustrated waiting in line. We had a party to go to at 4:00 and we didn't get checked-in completely until 3:15!?? What the heck and what kind of service is this?? and from Wyndham???...We understand that things happended but you should be more aware of your bookings and schedule more people to help out so that if there's an event in the future, people won't be late to the party because of LACK of front clerk/service. It was obvious that this was at one time a luxury hotel, but it is in need of updating. There were under construction type signs many places around the hotel, and other places that didn't need to be labeled. Both VERY IMPORTANT!! It was triple digit temps when were were there in July. They have a great looking indoor pool area for kids, but not really for the more mature crowd. Didn't try the restaurants, but did go to the bar area one evening for a game of pool and a drink. Both were fine. Everything was generally clean, just dated. During our stay, the hotel was extremely busy and unfortunately, one of the three elevators was inoperative. Additionally, there was limited access to the stairwell. To the hotels credit, the elevator was repaired early Monday morning.
