"Pictures of suites are NOT accurate"

Our stay was pleasant and adequate. All in all, pretty good. The sitting area of the room was nice enough. It was pretty clean. Here is the grumpy part. We waited for the front desk attendant when checking in, she emerged from the back, chewing, smacking her lips and wiping her mouth with her hand and a napkin. Ew! There was water (I suppose from dripping […] bodies) covering the elevator floors. Slippery when trying to bring in luggage! The bathroom (toilet and tub) was microscopic. I had to squeeze behind the toilet to close the door. It was also dimly lit and the fan was very noisy. The fridge was not cool enough to keep our food from spoiling (all of our food spoiled in one day). The AC was cranked at max and it was not cool enough. The outside temp was mid 80s. There was a VERY worn thin decorative flat sheet covering the comforters on the beds that was supposed to be some kind of duvet cover I imagine. It was worn and had holes in it.The beds were pretty lumpy and the pillows had past their prime long ago. There were numerous holes in the room darkening plastic shade, very planetarium like. The pool area is straightened probably once daily. It was strewn with toys and various debris when we arrived. Plus it was freezing. The breakfast buffet area is also microscopic. Too far from O'hare airport. When I checked their free services, there was a free shuttle service. "Frühstück läßt am Wochenende nach"
Wir hatten das Hotel von Donnerstag bis Samstag gebucht und es als Ausgang für unsere letzten Tage in Chicago vor der Rückreise genutzt. Wir hatten uns sehr gefreut, als wir feststellen durften, dass es zum Frühstück mal kein Plastikbesteck und Plastikteller gab. Diesen Komfort durften wir leider nur bis Freitag genießen. Ab Samstag wurde wieder das […] übliche Plastikbesteck raus geholt. Auch die Rühreier sind auf ein mal verschwunden und das Teewasser war fast kalt. In unserem Zimmer war eine Leselampe defekt. Ich hatte dem Personal eine Nachricht diesbezüglich hinterlassen. Leider ohne Erfolg. Auch nicht nachdem ich das Trinkgeld so platzierte, dass man den Zettel hätte lesen können.
