Three pool areas at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas offer distinct atmospheres. The Boulevard Pool, located on the East Deck, overlooks The Strip and offers music, daybeds, grouped lounge chairs, and occasional live entertainment. The Day Club Pool is an adults-only area with infinity pools, cabanas, and a lounge-like atmosphere; at night, it becomes an extension of the nightclub. The Bamboo Pool is more laidback, with a quieter environment, plentiful umbrellas and lounge chairs, and poolside spa treatments. During the autumn season, the Bamboo Pool and the Overlook Grill are open daily from morning until late afternoon and the Boulevard Pool is open from morning until sunset (excluding nighttime events).
Both of the towers at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas have their own fitness centers. The 5,250-square-foot West Tower Fitness Area, located on the 14th floor, offers lockers and a lounge area, treadmills, elliptical machines, free weights, a boxing training studio, a tennis court, and group classes. The 24-hour fitness center in the East Tower, located on the 15th floor, offers 2,087 square feet of cardio and strength equipment, stretching space, and lockers.

"loved the room, but hated the jackhammer"
Check in took too long, the room was amazing, the food was amazing, however, waking up to a jackhammer was not so good. They could have warned me when I checked in OR just not filled any of the rooms close to the repair work. It was so loud and annoying I could hear it in the shower. However, the front desk was awesome, gave me a food and beverage credit […] so I could go and get breakfast and coffee by the pool vs room service. The first pool, NO service, grabbed a menu, waiting about 45 min on my chair by the pool and NOTHING. Second pool, went in, sat at a chair in the bar area vs pool side, went and asked for the menu, still no service. I would stay again, but I would verify NO maintenance/repair work was being done. The pool service needs to change... I have never experienced poor pool service in any other hotel in Vegas. Big money is made pool side because most hotels won't allow you to bring any food or drink. "Mixed emotions"
Our terrace suite was stunning room wise. I didn't like the fact you could smoke on the balcony as we got a whiff of cigars, cigarettes, and weed while enjoying the view. There were some minor irritations, remote wouldn't work for one t.v., 30 minute late wake up call, our room key quit working had to have the maid let us in, then waited 1 hour while […] they were suppose to send up new keys which never arrived. When we went to the front desk to get keys the young girl was rude!! The marquee club caters to huge crowds of young kids and there were no less than 200 in line getting cabs at 5 a.m. yelling throwing up etc. Forget about trying to get in the pool, but I will say it was the quietest room wise we've ever stayed in. Would be nice if they cleaned the glass on the balcony so we could have enjoyed the great view of the bellagio fountains!! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
A LITTLE DISSAPOINTED WHEN WE ARRIVED. We were told the hotel would call us when our room was ready. We did get there at noon and official check in is 3;00 so that was fine. At 4:00 we still didn't get a call so we went to the front desk to ask why we didn't receive a call. The front desk clerk said our room still wasn't ready and they had no idea when […] it would be. I walked around the corner and stood in another line and the clerk said our room was ready for hours. WE had a great time and the room was great! The hotel is beautiful and very clean. "Crazy wkend"
The hotel was above average. In the middle of the strip. Although, I don't like walking from one end of hotel since I'm staying in the East tower and the lobby, taxi, fitness center, and spa are at the other end. But at least the layout was simple and elegant.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Stayed over the weekend. Really nicely done hotel. Central strip. Great room! Clean. Only problems: wifi didn't work, even after calling tech support, no club passes on sat nites, just Friday...cover is $60!, smaller casino than neighboring hotels, so gambling not best.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

This is a great hotel but I hate getting the surprise $25 a night resort fee added on. I was there for business and didn't have time to use the pool or gym and couldn't opt out of the fee so it feels like a rip off.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Not a family hotel...but fun for girl's weekend!"
Everytime we asked a staff member in one area/department of the hotel a question, if it was unrelated to their area/department, they were unable to help us. Seems like they should know more about the hotel overall. Also, we kept smelling a bad smell in the lobby, casino, shopping areas of the hotel. When we asked we were not given an explanation. They […] should have better ventilation. Overall it's a great hotel in a great location with everything you need! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great location - excellent restaurants on site."
Very sophisticated and a nice break from the typical higher end Vegas strip property. The restaurants on site were excellent, especially Milos. The corner balcony rooms are amazing.Genuine Expedia guest review
Our bath tub was dirty, but when I told a manager, they took care of it right away. The spa is beautiful, but the services are mediocre for the price. My girlfriend was treated really poorly by the scheduling staff at the spa and, rather than coming back to the room relaxed, she came back furious.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Amazing views!"
Stayed at the Cosmopolitan for the first time and found that having a balcony in Vegas is a super treat! We stayed in a wraparound terrace suite which had views to die for! I've been to Vegas several times over and have sampled stays at most of the top rated resorts, and I must say that the customer service at this hotel/casino is definitely lacking […] and far from top notch - if not for the views and the balcony I would not ever even consider coming back to this hotel. "Style on the Strip."
Our experience of the hotel was great from start to finish. The front desk staff and concierge were very welcoming and helpful, while the maid who serviced our room could not have been nicer. We had a good experience for the majority of our stay. The Vespa bar was a pleasant experience with one notable exception. One of our traveling buddies was overcharged […] for two drinks for a total of $80. We brought this to the attention of a manager on Saturday who rectified the issue, yet we were concerned that this could happen in the first place. The other issue in the hotel was the cigarette smoke. The Cosmopolitan looks amazing. It is truly a great hotel. The lingering cigarette smoke tarnishes this greatness. I know there are filter systems in place, but as an ex-smoker, Ismelling my clothes the next morning was not a pleasant experience! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Cosmo 2013"
The rooms were great. The views were excellent. Customer service was also fantastic. The nightlife is definitely geared toward a younger crowd. I was surprised to see Gang Unit Task Force police officers there on Friday and Saturday night. I felt very safe, but seeing that brought up some questions. I was disappointed with the restaurant choices there. […] We had one two meals there, and both were disappointing and expensive, so we took our meals at other places for the balance of our trip. "The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas"
Hotel is in good condition overall and decor is very original (my favorite of all Las Vegas hotels so far) The room was nice and well distributed, but the on/off switch of two bed lights did not work, and the safe stopped working on the second day. Went on a family trip and it was very nice, but I think the hotel is more suitable for couples or singles, […] since the ambiance in general feels more youthful and party-oriented (which is great). Location is good, and bus stop for both local and express service at the door is very convenient. The buffet is very good. Excellent restaurants, except The Henry on the first floor which wasn't good on speed of service (food took way too long) and quality of food was disappointing. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great property, but a couple of glitches"
I really wanted to give my recent stay at the Cosmopolitan 5-stars across the board. However, a few things prevented me from doing so. 1) When you clean the room, replace ALL the amenities (lotions & potions). I noticed this was not done and I had to stop and call downstairs to get them replaced. Not a big deal, except I was attending a conference/trade […] show and had MINUTES to get ready before I dashed off to entertain business clients. 2) What is up with television remotes? So so SO frustrating...I'm clicking and pointing, pointing and clicking....minutes are going by and I'm just about ready to hurl the damm thing off my 62nd floor balcony. FINALLY the damm TV clicks on. Jeezus. 3) Please check the entire shower, housecleaning. I saw my hair 2 days out of 3; on the shower wall. I know it's MY hair, but eewwww. Other than that, I completely adore this place. I'll most definitely stay again and I recommend the entire property (great restaurants, fantastic bars) to anyone who asks! "Best hotel in Vegas for design, view + nightclub"
MY NEW FAVORITE HOTEL IN VEGAS. But only go if you love lots of music, crowds of cute dressed up young people at night and a party atmosphere. It's definitely a romantic-party hotel. The good: Friendly, fun and professional staff. The BEST check-in experience I have ever had in Vegas. Incredibly nice and helpful. No line when I checked in (!) The best […] lobby, the best modern decor. The best nightclub. The best design. The best casino bar (Chandelier Bar) THE Best view in Las Vegas (twice as tall as most hotels) and having an FULLY OPENING floor to ceiling window with a huge balcony and an outside seating area is amazing. FREE VALET! The fountain view rooms are outstanding. Bathrooms are gorgeous. Bed is comfortable, Great robes, beautiful books to look through in the rooms. Room Service breakfast was fantastic and I recommend the waffles with whipped cream and fruit.THE BAD: It's on the expensive side but worth it. Maintenance could be better; our bathroom had two sinks and one of them had a completely broken stopper so we could no use it. The pool in our building was closed (weird, they could heat it!). The "japanese soaking tub" had a fabulous view of the Bellagio Fountains, and was amazing except the stopper in the bath leaked so you had to keep a foot on it to keep the water full in the tub and it made a constant noise of leaking water. OVERALL, I LOVED IT. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice Rooms"
Clean, spacious, good looking room with all the ammenities, at the heart of the strip. Had a delightful meal at STK. The check in was quick and easy. The concierge service was pleasant. The problems were, the food and drinks were inflated about 500%, the bar on 1st floor East was beat up and filthy, and the staff at the Marquee treated people like low […] lifes if they did not pay for bottle service. If your goal is to have a great experience with a room then this is your place. Other than that, eat, drink, and club else where. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great hotel location, fun, lots to eat and do"
Fantastic views, highly recommend the Bellagio fountain view. Hotel location is very convenient, super decor and amazing room service. I'd stay here again but had the following issues to look out for: - bartenders were average, some just plain bad (forget your drinks, attitude, low service, slow) - all room lights are on one switch, its a pain to turn […] one on by itself Other than that, it was a great experience. Room service comes in 10 to 20 mins! 4th floor had a skating rink outside for New Years, huge party lounge outside with heaters. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"New Year's Week stay at the Cosmopolitan"
Love the location, the restaurants in the hotel were by far the best in the area . I stayed for the week of New Year's and the hotel did a great job managing the crowds. The suite I was expecting wasn't available, so we were upgraded to a corner suite! Being that cold is not usual in Vegas and the mostly glass exterior walls, the room was a little drafty. […] The heating was adequate, I would guess the AC is in much better shape and would return in warmer months to see. Regardless of the cold, the view from the corner of the 29th floor on new year's was unbeatable. There was a floor lamp with a broken lens in the room and some (nonperishable) items were left in an otherwise empty fridge. I think the fridge was supposed to be stocked as an honor bar, but that had been overlooked. I was examining the empty honor bar tray and I guess I triggered the sensor for the romance kit because it was on the room bill when we checked out. Thankfully, the employee checking us out on a very busy day was friendly and didn't charge us and took notes about the issues we had. Supposedly I will receive a call from management. I just returned yesterday, so that remains to be seen. I would definitely stay at the Cosmopolitan again, overall it is a great hotel in a great location. My specific experience didn't go perfectly, but I would be surprised to have it happen again. The manager at the Va Bene was amazing and helped me out with a surprise desert for my wife! "Dog Friend Hotel, but lacks accommodation for pets"
I choose this hotel because it is Pet Friendly and Fairly new hotel. Overall experience was good, but there are a few things to mentioned about the hotel. They hold deposit of $150.00/daily. We stay 4 nights and they hold $600.00. I think it's bit too much for hold the fund especially when you depend on your credit card for shopping, etc. So, be aware […] of this and have enough fund to cover it. For Cityroom, it doesn't have king bed. so, if you want the king size bed, you have to upgrade your room. This room doesn't have a tub, only shower. But Shower is totally visible from the room. There is blinds to cover the shower, but blinds control from the room, not from the shower. So, if you are sharing the room with friends, you may not feel totally private when you shower. Anyone can open the blinds from the room and you are totally exposed. This hotel is consider 5 star hotel, but it can't compare to Wynn, Encore, Aria, Palazzo, If I didn't travel with my dog, this wouldn't be my choice of the hotel. Only reason that I consider this hotel is it's pet friendly. They charge $50.00 extra for pet fee per day, but it lacks accommodation for pet. They didn't even have the clean area for dog to run and do his business. 14th floor, next to the pool, dog relief area, size roughly 4x20. It's wet and smell bad. My dog refused to go in there. It has astro turf! ,C'mon! It's wet and believe me, it wasn't from the rain or residue water from the cleaning. If you know what I mean...
