"A Good Bargain, But No Noise???"
Previous review touted the reviewer heard no noise. Note: Get new batteries for the aid. We stayed in room #256, also stated to be very quiet by the front desk. Quiet from internal noise maybe. Being at the south end of the hotel, it was directly across from the south take-off end of the runway. Attempts to get a little sleep before spending the night […] out were thwarted by 3 hours of non-stop take-offs. You'd better be a very sound sleeper. "THE place to stay!"
This hotel was so beautiful! It was a new hotel in a location that was just far enough from the strip, but just close enough too. There was a huge tv, beautiful bathroom and one of the most comfortable beds ever! And 24 hour hot tub and pool, which feels really nice after walking around all day! The breakfast was a nice perk and the staff at the breakfast […] was very helpful. (My sister who also stayed there was a little late to breakfast and they still helped her out with whatever she needed!) The entire staff was very helpful and friendly! It's nice and quiet, too! No flashy lights and no casino in the lobby, which is really nice at night when you want to sleep! The shuttle is an added bonus that takes you to the strip and the airport. "Clean"
This was a very nice hotel. New feel. Everyone at the hotel was very helpful. Best part was the shuttle to the strip, very convienent. Picked us up from the strip anytime we wanted. It appears to be a brand new hotel right next to the airport in an area currently being developed. Next to a shopping center and within walking distance to Sunset Park. Short hop to the Vegas strip itself, though this far south from the Strip it doesn't feel like shady-sexy Vegas...it's nice. "Sehr guter Service und gute Verkehrsanbindung"
Wir haben das Hotel La Quinta Inn & Suites ausgewählt, da es etwas abseits vom Strip liegt und eine gute Ausgangslage für weitere Stadt/Umgebungserkundungen bietet. Der kostenlose Shuttleservice (Flughafen, Strip, Town Square) war sehr zuverlässig und ist in regelmäßigen Abständen (nach Absprache) gefahren. Das junge Servicepersonal war sehr freundlich […] und hilfsbereit. Eine Auswahl an Menükarten lag an der Rezeption aus und das Essen wurde schnell und warm bis auf das Zimmer geliefert, da kein Restaurant im Hotel vorhanden ist. Die Außenanlage (Whirlpool und Swimmingpool) waren genau wie die Zimmer sehr sauber. Insgesamt ist das Hotel in einem sehr guten, neuwertigen Zustand. Getränke- und Snackautomaten halten ein paar Kleinigkeiten zu günstigen Preisen bereit. Dank Kühlschrank und Mikrowelle auf dem Zimmer können allerdings auch mitgebrachte Snacks noch frisch gehalten bzw. warm gemacht werden. Sehr praktisch ist auch der Eiswürfelautomat auf dem Flur. Lediglich das Frühstücksbuffet fällt für europäische Verhältnisse etwas knapp aus. Zwar gibt es eine Auswahl an Bagels, Saft, Kaffee, Obst Toast und diversen Aufstrichen, jedoch fehlt Rührei, Käse oder Aufschnitt. Ein Highlight waren die frisch gebackenen Waffeln mit Sirup. Der Frühstücksraum war leider an einigen Tagen so überfüllt, dass man auf das eigene Zimmer ausweichen musste. Das Frühstück war im Zimmerpreis inbegriffen und daher beziehe ich diesen einzigen negativen Aspekt des Aufenthalts nur sehr gering in die Bewertung ein. Reisedatum: 4.-12.April 2011 2 Personen, Alter: 25-45 Interessen: Outlet-shopping, Selbstfahrer-Auto-Tagesausfluege in Umgebung: Red Rock Canyon, Hoover Dam, Valley of Fire ... aber Strip geht durch 1/2-1-std. kostenlosen Hotel-shuttle zum strip (MGM), Town-Square oder Flughafen ... auf Wunsch auch zum Car-Rental-Center (Gilespie-Street) - hervorragend […] ausgestattete Zimmer (Mikrowelle, Kuehlschrank, 42Zoll-TV, kostenloses WLAN, kostenlose local calls - keine Minibar, dafuer guenstige Getraenkeautomaten auf dem Gang, kostenlose Eisspender - Fruehstueck allerdings bescheiden: very continental: hartgekochte Eier, Frischkaese- und Marmeladen-Toepfchen, Butter, Joghurt, etwas Cerealien, sonst Toast (weiss oder mit Rosinen), einziges Highlight: Waffeln zum Selberbacken - Zimmer zur Flughafenseite (Start/Landebahn liegt nur ca. 200 m entfernt) durchaus mit hoerbarem Fluglaerm (6-23 Uhr, danach nur wenige Sondermaschinen), Zimmer hintenraus aber ruhig, dafuer halt kein Ausblick - laestig(er) waren lediglich einige "ungezogene", "ruecksichtslose" Hotelgaeste, die hautsaechlich am Wochenende fuer Kurztrip aufzuschlagen scheinen: Tuerenschlagen und Rumlaermen bis Mitternacht ... da hilft nur Direktansprache und das kann ueberall passieren ... ansonsten sind die Zimmer gut gegeneinander schallgeschuetzt - Personal super freundlich - Pool gut beheizt (Whirlpool hatte Badewasser-Temperatur ... im April ... trotz frostiger 5-10 Grad Aussentemperatur) - Walmart liegt um die Ecke, Pizza-Lieferservices auch - wuerde jederzeit sofort wieder hinfahren, auch bzw. gerade weil es nicht in unmittelbarer Naehe zum Strip-Trubel liegt ... und keine Spielautomaten im Foyer hat Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
