I have stayed multiple times over the past year. I am surprised when the desk staff remembers me- they are wonderful. The staff as a whole are incredible. The place was very clean, staff was friendly. I was pleasantly surprised they serve their continental breakfast with waffels starting at 6 am, even on weekends, very unusual. Did not hear much airplane noise just as other people stated. New hotel with all new fixture and hardware.. Very good room. A great bomus for dog owners. They do not charge extra fees or have weight restrictions with is very welcome. Many pet owner in the house but few if any noticable noise or trouble. Close to airport so if you don't liike the sound of planes, this might not be the place for you. I like the hotel. The staff was friendly, it was close enough to the strip and airport. The bed was super comfortable and the room clean. It didn't bother me too much but I can see how it might bother other people, you hear at least in the room I stayed the airplanes land. It woke me up a few times, but I'm used to noise. Its staff is friendly and being that it recently opened it's spotless. The rooms are very large and comfortable. a nice seating area with sofa, 2 chairs and tables. A new 42' plasma tv. Its not that far off the strip but far enough away from the chaos.

This hotel is really good. Even if it is close to the airport I didn't hear any noise (but my room was on the opposite side). The room was very clean and comfortable. The only thing I was not satisfied was the breakfast which was very poor. I would stay in this hotel again.

This was a great hotel. The only complaint is that we were on the 3rd floor where there was not supposed to be any pets allowed and the people across the hall from us had a yappy dog that kept barking and then at 12:30 in the morning they dog started barking again and woke us up. We spoke to the front desk afterwards about it and they said that it was […] the lady's fault for not telling them she had a dog because she wasn't supposed to be on the 3rd floor with pets. When I checked in, the hotel clerk told me that he had not received Expedia's payment. I indicated that it had been paid over a month ago. He kept searching on the computer and shaking his head. However, the second my husband came into the lobby he conveniently found our paid reservation!! We think he was just trying to scam me since I am beyond middle […] age and he thought he could get me to pay full price using my bank card and then me arguing with Expedia for a refund. The hotel is new, so it's obviously in great shape. The staff were all very good. Having a non-smoking hotel was a big draw for me. The free breakfast and free wireless internet were also attractive for me. I like the pillow top matttresses, too. I wanted a place where I could actually sleep, so that part worked out great. The only down side is the […] location of the hotel, and length of time it takes to get to the strip and back on the shuttle. It's supposed to leave the hotel on the hour, but that doesn't always happen. And they just have one 12 passenger van working most of the time. I will stay there again (if I'm going to be in Vegas over the weekend, when the casino hotels are a lot more expensive) but I would rent a car. If you arrive in Vegas in the evening, just take the hotel shuttle from the airport and then in the morning, take the shuttle to the car rental center nearby. Read more

If you dont want to be on the strip this is a good choice. This property is new and only a couple months old. This property however is a bad choice if you don't have a car. There are no grocery stores less than half a mile away and no close by food places (fast food or otherwise). after driving about 500 miles, checked in a little tired but excited to be in vegas, so we took in a great show had a bite to eat and got back to our room about 1030p.m. noticed the room was very cold, tryed everything from shutting the air off to turning the heat on, nothing worked, kept blowing cold air, called the front desk and was told the maintenence […] man was picking up people at the airport, but would be back by 1130 p.m. at 1150 man came in, spent less than 30 seconds said he would be on within 10 minutes,wrong! cold air again! called front desk again and told once again that maintenence was at airport at 1245 a.m a different man showed up and new nothing about how to fix problem, went personally to front desk with him and niether men showed any interest in helping us, stated they would attemp to shut unit down totally, I stated it was freezing in the room and that we needed heat, they said nothing they could do, Iasked them to either call the manager at home or give us another room or even another hotel, they said no rooms left, sold out! after much bickering, all of a sudden a handicapped room was located, and finally at 130a.m. we moved to new room! next day spoke with the manager who was very understanding and apologized for the incident and gave us a refund for the nights stay, very professional and caring lady! her understanding took the sting out of what started out to be a nightmare, she stated that they had been having same problem with other cooling units and they were working to correct the situation! otherwise great hotel and super manager, would stay again! This was a very nice hotel. New feel. Everyone at the hotel was very helpful. Best part was the shuttle to the strip, very convienent. Picked us up from the strip anytime we wanted. Shuttle runs 24 hours! Had a shuttle to the airport also that took us at 4:30 in the morning. Would recommend this hotel.

The hotel was nice, beds were great and parking was great. Very nice for the price the only problem was that the rooms do not cool down. We could not get the room below about 75 at night, a bit unconfortable and the windows do not open. If you can stand the heat then it's a really nice hotel with a decent breakfast.

lost 3 hrs getting to the hotel because the hotel listing the airport had didn't list La Quinta South and we wound up being delivered to La Quinta North. Then had to be delivered to L Q South. This ate up 3 hours. Your staff was super and we have nothing but praise for them. Thank you for being dog Friendly.

Great service, this hotel is SUPER clean! Brand New! I stayed here on my 1st night in Vegas and should have stayed. My 2nd & 3rd night was at Treasure Island. The amenities at La Quinta were far superior then that of Treasure Island. Love this place!

If you're just passing through or looking for a quiet, smoke-free hotel off the strip the La Quinta Las Vegas Airport South is the perfect spot. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. We only had 2 complaints... 1. The morning breakfast was not that great. We got downstairs around 9 am and they had run out of most everything, including […] cutlery. We found a staff member who did replentish some items, but it was inconvenient that we had to ask. If breakfast is advertised between certain hours (6 - 10 am), all items should be available during that timeframe. 2. The room service company that the hotel uses didn't get our order correct which was a bit disappointing, as we had already paid and they were long gone, before the error was noticed. Because it was a 3rd party company, it isn't as easy to get the problem recticfied as it would be if you were just calling down to the front desk. Outside of these 2 issues we had a great stay! the hotel is new so was clean and tidy not luxury but great for the money but we had a few issues my son ended up with quite bad cuts on his toes (actually took the skin off the underside ) from the pool the as the bottom is very rough and there were a huge amount of sharp leaves and debris that we had to try to avoid and so only used the pool twice […] despite the heat also the wifi was a problem as they changed the password and when my husband phoned down to get the new password he got transfered to a outside pizza restaurant as they didnt seam to know what they were doing the aeroplane noise depends on which room you get for the first 4 days we had a car park side room and heard nothing but the last 3 were on the airport side and we could definatly hear them taking off the breakfast was as expected and the shuttle is handy for the airport and mgm Read more
