We stayed in the elara for 10 nights from apr 26 - may 6 2013, the hotel is beautiful, we were upgraded to a 1 bedroom suite,, the rooms were gorgeous, like a very modern apartment with full kitchen, dining room, giant living room, large bedroom and nice bathroom,, big whirlpool tub in bedroom,, nice view of strip from large windows,, the only downfall […] is there is no restaurant in the hotel to get breakfast and you need to walk in the mall a bit to get to the casino at PH,, no resort charge,,, in all , we would stay there again,, great value for a gorgeous place!!! The hotel itself is connected to planet hollywood and is pretty modern. We stayed in a junior suite which consisted of 1 bathroom, 1 bed room and a separate living room. It was pretty spacious but surprisingly no full length mirrors?? The location, however, was perfect. Beautiful pool that was not too crowded which we loved, only a 5 minute walk to […] earl's sandwiches, fat tuesdays and many other shops, and across the street from marquee. "Valet parking left us with a bad experience"
While the room was wonderful, and the bed above avg, we left our car on day 1 with one of their parking valets. Two days later we went to get the car, and the valet had left the lights on. Dead battery. While the hotel removed the daily parking charge from our invoice, we were responsible for getting a tow truck, etc. We lost over half a day of vacation […] in the process. Pros: Great modern hotel, large space (one-Bed suite), clean, floor to ceiling glass window, 8ft projector screen, washer/dryer in bathroom. "In town for wedding"
We researched a lot for a suite with multiple rooms for family of five. Although this was the highest price it is still cheaper than similar room in big casino. Location is good, short walk to strip and not too far from monorail station, and a Walgreen on the front of the block. We enjoyed the hotel and room, but were disapointed when the pool was closed for cleaning. They made arrangements for us to use the Planet Hollywood pool, but this information should be posted. We liked that this hotel is non-smoking (including the lobby) and didn't have a casino (more low key). The absence of a restaurant ended up being a bit inconvenient, although we could get to them in a 10 minute walk. And the fact that their pool was under construction was a big bummer given that was the intent of our trip. They sent us to the Planet […] Hollywood pool, but that wasn't of the same size or quality. The hotel was fashionable and pleasant. Location in the Miracle Mile shopping mall was awesome and convenient. It was hard to find the lobby because there wasn't any signage from inside the mall. The room was nice and large. The only problem was that the door to the bathroom did not close at all. We were only there for one night so I did not call maintenance to fix it. Check in was quick & friendly. The room was very nice with electric blinds, jetted tub, leather couch and more. The pillows were horrible (hard) I requested down and had them delivered pronto. The room we booked is a one bedroom suite big enough for 4-6 people. Very spacious every room has its television and a projector in the living room. The kitchen is amazing huge fridge(free of charge some hotels you will pay if you use the fridge) plates, cups, glass wine, glass, spoons and forks there's microwave and a stove only missing is the cooking […] materials (pots and pans) but that's okay. The living room sofa is sectional which you can convert in a queen size bed and a closet. Bedroom a king size bed drawers vanity mirror and chair a jacuzzi which we had a little trouble at first but it was quickly resolved ver relaxing after a long day. Bathroom is large with washer and dryer!!! The view is okay. The location is very good connection to planet Hollywood ang miracle mile shops which made easy to access the strip by walking... Exit planet Hollywood cross the street your already in belagio!!!! Location is wonderful. Friendly and attentive housekeeping service. Give them a call they will provide what you need. We stayed there to celebrate new year. The good security service you can't enter the elevators if you don't have a key. ALWAYS BRING YOUR KEY CARD with you.
