"Great first experience in Las Vegas at Mandarin."
The Mandarin hotel lives up to its tip-top billing. FIrst and foremost was the consistency of the great service throughout the hotel (every single contact was cordial and courteous.) Location-wise, the hotel provides a convenient and comfortable home base for first time travelers to Vegas who might prefer a less bustling environment while still being […] in the center of things. Our room had a beautiful view of the city center shopping/entertainment mall and was so comfortable that it sometimes made it challenging to leave the room. For those into contemporary architecture or interior design, the City Center (where the Mandarin is located) provides beautiful examples of what I'm guessing to be state-of-the-art. The reception desk was efficient and very on-the-ball: they even printed out our boarding passes for us on check-out. (The only somewhat negative comment I have about the hotel is that access to the free parking lot requires a several minute walk outside in the heat to get to. It's close to the Aria hotel which is about a block away.) Overall I'm in awe of the property which greatly added to the overall enjoyment of our first stay in Las Vegas. (By the way, if you want to swim laps in one of the lap pools, it's best to get up early when the pool area opens - around 8am; otherwise, it might be too crowded to do so.) Ich habe dieses Hotel mehr oder weniger zufällig gebucht - gut für mich: Das Hotel ist nicht sehr groß und hat kein eigenes Casino. Man hat zwar vom Zimmer einen schönen Blick auf den Strip, die für mich negativen Bgeleiterscheinungen (vor allem der Lärm und die Menschenmassen) fehlen aber. Nach einem Streifzug durch die Stadt bin ich immer mit dem […] Gefühl "ah, endlich zu Hause" ins Hotel zurückgekommen. Erwähnenstwert ist auch das ausgesprochen freundliche und hilfsbereite Personal.
