It is just far enough from the Strip that you don't hear the noise & you don't have those annoying people trying to give you the cards for liasons with females.It is close to the Las Vegas Convention Centre & only a short drive, or a bit longer walk to other Casinos on the Strip. There is a pharmacy & Ross Department Store & souvenir stores within walking […] distance. This was originally the Debbie Reynolds Hotel & Casino & then the Greek Isles. If you want to go with your dogs, this is a very good option. If you want more luxury then you should pick another hotel on the strip.

Well, the room was clean except the carpet had stains on it. Tiny TV, small refrigerator. The ice machine was out of service on our floor (6) and I couldn't get any bills into our pop machine. Also, I booked this 2-king bed room for 4 adults but we got only two sets of towels. My husband had to use the bath mat. That morning I explained the situation […] and whilst I stood there, the receptionist called housekeeping to advise of situation. That afternoon, still only two sets of towels. I called to the desk and was told they'd didn't have anyone to bring more. After a "what?" from me, the manager brought some up. They weren't rude or anything but just didn't seem to care. The restaurant food for breakfast was soooo slow. A re-heat of coffee took over 5 minutes. And I couldn't even finish the first cup. Something called Citvas or Civtas, which means "cigarette ashes" in another language. I'll drink Farmers Bros before that stuff. Printer wasn't connected to computer but they kindly let me print airline tickets from front desk. This was centrally located for us, but we walk a lot. About 1/4 mile jaunt to the Strip. Probably would need to drive to Fremont area but was an easy find and parking was available. The beds were comfy and huge. No top cover but only one of us had an issue with that. Read more

We stayed for 3 nights and it was fine. Rooms were comfortable with mini fridge and coffee maker and iron and hair dryer. Beds were clean and comfortable. The hotel is located near the Convention Center and near the Strip. The hotel was fully booked, but plenty of parking and the room was ready and exactly what we ordered. Room was spacious and clean. When you first walk into the place, you think you made a bad decision. Because the lobby looks ghetto. Then you walk into your room and it feels like your in a suite at the luxor. This was a decent hotel, the price was great and pet friendly, a big plus. It was very close to the strip, the room was big, comfortable beds, very nice. Non-smoking also a big plus. The Hotels.com agent that helped me book this room did a great job!

I got a room in 12th floor,there was lot of noise from the A/C in the night,so they moved me from 12th to 3rd floor.Moving in the middle of the night was a pain.Make sure you don't take on the 12th floor if you book the room here.

We had a really bad experience at this hotel, dirty ans smelly carpets, we arrived on friday and left on sunday and they never runned a vacuum on the hallway. There were bugs on the pool. the carperts on the elevators and room are disgusting, overall the worst hotel ever, we are never going back.

The Clarion hotel is located close to the Las Vegas strip. Both the bus stop and tram stop are at a walkable distance. So, reaching strip or downtown is very easy. Considering the proximity to the strip and low cost of stay per night, it is a very good option to stay when in Las Vegas. All employees in the hotel were very good and friendly. A little bit of investment on the decor and new carpets could improve the hotel's staying experience. The second negative is the slow internet speed. Vegas was a stop-over for us, so we weren't looking for the primo spot on the strip. We booked this hotel based on budget. It was at least $20 cheaper than anything else on the Strip. We didn't know much about the Strip and locations of where to stay. We booked the Clarion thinking it was literally right off the strip in a busy area. It was about 3 […] blocks off in a dark and practically deserted street. We walked it anyway to get to the strip. It's right between old and new Vegas. We didn't use any ammenities like bar, restaurant, etc. The rooms were surprisingly roomy and clean. It's by no means fancy or "happening" but it's cheap. Save your money for the slots! We're not saying don't stay here, but we're not recommending it if you're wanting a Vegas casino experience. Read more
