"Dump..."
This place is a dump compared to the places we stay on the strip. I realize this isn't a Wynn or Mandarin or Cosmopolitan, but we expected a lot more, particularly because of the mostly positive reviews. We were wrong, and we will not stay here again. The rooms are nearly institutional with an awful stainless "kitchen", the faux wood floors heaved and […] squeaked when walked on, the hallways stunk horrendously, it's a very long walk from the hotel to the casino and restaurants, the pool is tiny, and the entire resort is generally rundown and full of riffraff... Very disappointed! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"High style."
The Palms impressed me. I didn't expect the rooms to be so high styled. It was very nice. Watched a concert at their big theatre, The Pearl. Had dinner at their Friday seafood buffet -- it was good quality food. I'd go back. Too bad the Playboy Club is no longer...Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Just found a few things that the cleaners missed (a piece of orange under the couch). But all in all, the place was great.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Birthday extravaganza"
We have stayed here in the past and had awesome experiences....except this time our room was left unattended 2 days in a row and didn't have it cleaned until almost 8 pm...ridiculous. We ordered coffee and received it almost an hour later...we were compensated but we hated coming back to our room and finding it still unkept.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

We had a group of 12 celebrating my 30th birthday and we could not have picked a better place! We stayed at the new tower, Palms Place. It was absolutely beautiful! Super modern. "the palms road trip"
My friend and I stayed at The Palms Casino Resort, in a one bedroom suite for three nights. The room was very nice up to date in style, very clean. It was more then we expected. There were a few problems though, the door to the dryer and washing machine was barely on the door hinges looked like it was about to fall off. There was no hair dryer in either […] bathrooms or closets. We called the front desk and told them what was going on with the room since we didnt want to get blamed for breaking the door or taking the hair dryer, we also asked for extra blankets and were told they will be rite up. An hour later still no blanket called again and was told the same thing they will be rite up. Yet another hour passes and No blanket so we called again some time passed and still not sign of a blanket so we left the room to go see the casino and when we headed back to the room stopped at the front desk and thats when we finally got the blanket we asked for earlier in the day. I would say yes book your stay. It might be away from the strip but the visit was well worth it. There is liquor stores and resturants near by. All employees at the Palms were nice.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

This was my first trip to the Palms Place went on a girls trip to Vegas for a friends wedding and loved it. Great room, service, pools are amazing. Great place to go and have a lot of fun!!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"comfortable suite"
Location is not convenient at all in regard to the strip (I knew this before booking, but some might not). You might like not being in the hustle and bustle of Vegas, and enjoy the view of the entire strip, but if you have friends at other hotels on the strip, keep this in mind (too far to walk). The pool was a lot of fun. A word of advice: if you want […] a chair at the pool, GET THERE EARLY (around 11am). Room was great (studio suite in Palms Place). Ordered food service for dinner (sushi from SIMON's), it arrived just at the right time and was delicious! Overall had a fantastic time and would for sure stay there again! Pros: Clean, Modern and affordable. Great Restaurants and lounges/bars/pools at the Hotel. Cons: A bit far from the strip. Its roughly a $10 cab ride to the strip or you can wait for a shuttle across the street and ride it for free but its on a schedule.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Expensive Motel 6"
Felt like we were staying at Motel 6. Small room, no coffee pot, no microwave, unable to sit down in front of TV to view screen (had to sit at an angle), not a great view of Las Vegas from room, and at night unable to keep curtains open due to bright lights directed at room.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Palms Place at The Palms"
The hotel has several flaws. The most upsetting was when I checked out and the customer service person claimed, " you're good to go, there are no charges", and I've even repeated, " No other charges?", and she (I know I should have gotten her name), said No. I just checked my transactions online, and I have this showing on my credit card activity: […] 08/23/2011 PALMS PLACE FRONT DESK PALMS NV $16.80 How's that for customer satisfaction??? "Don't eat at Nove"
Terrible service.. the food is good but the service was really bad. For that price on food it should be better than service you would get at Applebees on a busy Friday night for crying out loud. "Palms place didn't have..."
Really loved the room.. It was super clean looking. But why wasn't there a blow dryer? Literally dried my hair with the heater to get ready for the night. Also, when I took a shower, the entire bathroom would pretty much flood and it was so bad we had to lay towels all over the floor so we wouldn't slip. But I did love the view from our room and the […] room seemed clean! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Beautiful Hotel, Terrible Service"
The Palms Place lists a 3pm check in time. When we arrived a little past three we were told that our room was not ready and that they will call us when the room was ready. We were checking in after 3 nights of camping in Zion National Park and were looking forward to showers and a nap. With no apologies, they sent us off to kill time unshowered and […] a mess. The clock struck five and we had still not heard from the hotel so we drove back and queued up with about 20 other parties whose rooms weren't ready either. When we got to the front desk, I argued until they "found" a room for us, on a much lower level than promised. When I complained again how ridiculous it was that we had paid for a room that was to be ready at 3pm and it was past 5 and were still not able to get in, we were told that we were "lucky to have gotten one of the available rooms". When you pay for something to be available at a particular time, that's when it should be available. Hotel is beautiful. The rooms are very nice and the beds are very comfortable after a few days hiking and camping. The location is mediocre and takes a $15 cab ride to get onto the main strip. But the service was terrible. Lose the attitude, front desk receptionists and at least apologize and compensate when you fail to deliver something I was promised. I take some of it back. The 24 hour complementary valet was very nice and the valet guys treated us very well. But front desk / management is an entirely different story. Would definitely stay elsewhere next time I return. "Very Nice but already showing wear and tear"
Stayed in Palms Place room on the 50th floor facing strip on 5/12. Awesome view, one of the best, since it was away from the strip, the view encompassed the whole strip. Room had a full kitchen with appliances and dishes and silverware. The bed was super comfy. Bath had a jetted tub and two shower heads in the shower. Balcony was locked off probably […] due to insurance risk factors. Parking and access to is very easy at Palms Place. To get to the Palms casino, I found that it was actually faster to walk through the parking lot then go through the walkway which connects both places. Everything was nice and a good value however the public areas are very dark (black) and the walls were showing a lot of wear and tear (scrapes, dents, holes). The room has tiled floors so a lot noise echoes in it. The night I stayed at didn't have a lot of people which was nice, but on a weekend this place gets crowded and there not enough staff to handle the multitude of rowdy guests. Overall, I'd say a good value, especially if you don't have to spend extra for a strip view and you get a good value during the week, and if you can take advantage of the kitchen amenities. More expensive rooms in town don't come with jetted tubs, so this a good value. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Palms Place, for the party man, not party boy"
an overall enjoyable experience if you're looking for a classy east-coast feel. the atmosphere is set right for luxury vegas tower attached to a hotel casino like palms, which is geared towards bars/lounges/clubs and not really gambling. the room was clean although it was missing a comforter, and i don't want to know why. i requested a new one be brought […] to the room, and in 10 minutes it was there and it was in a sealed plastic bag. my room had a great balcony, but as with most hotels now the balcony was locked and off limits for security reasons. the top restaurant there, Simon, excellent for fancy dinner and sunday brunch. good views of the pool. the pool area is nice, small and fairly relaxed. not a pool party spot, so i don't feel a cabana would be worth it, however seating is limited due to the size. i would recommend this hotel. i've stayed at a lot of hotels in vegas, and this one would be in my top 3 with encore and palazzo and with an entirely different and better feel than the huge hotel casinos. "great room"
The room was great. Clean and very usable space. Easily slept 5 with room to pre-game and enjoy the view before hitting the strip. Comparable to ceasars palace and more affordable.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Terrible Customer Service"
From the moment I arrived to the moment I left, this hotel was all around disappointing. The balcony, which are a large part of the square footage of the room, was locked and the staff refused to open it. The room was dusty and dirty. The ice machines were down, so I had to call room service every time I needed ice and wait 3 hours for them to arrive […] with a small bucket. The main pool was ice cold due to a broken heater. We were hassled for noise complaints repeatedly at 10 pm on a Friday night...... And we weren't even being loud. The dealers at the casino were rude. All around a poor experience and I will never stay there again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
