Glittering, larger-than-life gambling palaces dominate Las Vegas Boulevard South, better known as The Strip. Here, hotels are destinations unto themselves. Within a three-mile stretch, visitors can see the New York City skyline, the Eiffel Tower, an Egyptian pyramid, imperial Rome, a dancing fountain, and an exploding volcano. "Best experience yet in Vegas"
Stayed here this past weekend and was very impressed. We have stayed at four for five other hotels on the strip and this is easily the nicest. The rooms are extremely large, very comfortable, and service is exquisite. Book your room now!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nice rooms but slow service"
The rooms are great but plan on lots of time for services. Room service takes over an hour (one day was 1 hour and 45 minutes - it was almost lunchtime by the time I got my breakfast). Picking up your car 15-30 minutes and they won't allow you to call in advance. Luggage help 15-30 minutes and even the bell desk can't order your car in advance. Valet […] parking was only for guests and self-parking was full - so I had to meet people at other locations. These inconveniences made this a difficult stay. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"large and comfortable suite style room"
Beautiful hotel, great spa, close to everything. The housekeeping service was very sporadic and inconsistent - sometimes they completely cleaned the room, sometimes they just made up the bed. Had to ask for shampoo, etc.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Venetian is better than some of the other Strip properties (excluding Wynn/Encore). Crowd isn't as bad as Planet Hollywood, MGM, Luxor, etc.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"In Room Experience"
Room 16-906. I like gadgets so I feel I'm fairly capable of figuring out things without manuals. I found a couple things in the room to be less than ideal. First, our TV had very few channels to offer. The display did not seem to have a landing menu to help direct you to your viewing options. Guide did not work. Channel changing would not jump to next […] available channel and you couldn't tell if you were in fact changing channels until you eventually landed on one. Second, all the light switches, red main power??? Had difficulty understanding how to turn off the light on the wall between the beds since every other light had a a wall plate switch. Suggested enhancement, the room's window view is of a fairly large rooftop. It would be very Vegas of you to have the Vegas strip map painted on the roof top. Not only would it greatly improve on the disappointment of getting that room with the current so, so view, but you would add convenience by providing a blue print of navigating the strip. Be sure I get my claim to fame if you pull that off. I'm sure it would gather quite a buzz for your effort. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Disappointing for a AAA five diamond resort"
This hotel was just ok, in my opinion. There were several things about it that lead to my somewhat poor ranking. First of all, the rooms are supposed to be nonsmoking. Our first room smelled like cigar smoke. I called right away to request another room, and they gave me a different room with a strip view for the inconvenience. They apologized that they […] cannot control what guests do in their rooms (although you can, by charging a cleaning fee, which I have seen many other hotels do). The second room smelt even worse, but I didn't want to complain again. The bed was incredibly hard. The shower didn't seem to have been cleaned, there were two plastic covers from disposable razors on the floor of the shower the first time we used it, gross. The manager I spoke to about it just seemed irritated. There were only two drinking glasses in the entire suite, wine glasses as well, which I used for drinking water. Only got a newspaper half the days. Had room service three times, and the food was not good (only had because we were too tired to go out). Despite the high end finishes in the room (marble, etc) they were poorly constructed/put together. Prestige level was nice for the included drinks but probably not worth the price. It was nice to have access to DVD catalog. TVs in room were nice. Sofa in sunken living room was very comfortable, I thought about sleeping there some nights. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Wonderful Hotel!"
I was very impressed with The Palazzo. No complaints at all! Probably the quietest hotel room I've stayed in. I don't think I heard any hallway noise. I stayed in what I believe is their standard room which was anything but standard in my opinion. Really a beautful place. Aside from the room, the other ammenities were also great. The shopping and dining […] optiongs within the hotel are incredible. If you have the chance stay here; you won't be disappointed! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
