This was the first time I stayed at platinum hotel and I absolutely loved it! The staff was more then friendly and helpful. For example I asked the front desk girl if she knew how to get to Fremont street she didn't just tell me but she printed out directions for me! I was pleasantly surprised for that gesture :) I will plan all my future trips here […] ! And I also found out my brother in law is getting married there next year! Thank you for a great stay! The Platinum is a walkable 1.5 blocks from the strip and the Bellagio monorail station which means it's possible to ditch your car in the hotel parking lot (which is valet only) during your entire stay and walk to strip or monorail station. The staff are friendly and helpful. Room service was great, good food, reasonable prices for room service. The room wasn't immaculately spotless but is anything in Vegas? Close enough to the strip. Just a 10 minute walk. Its nice to come back and get out of the crowds and the no smoking is a real plus! Go to Ellis Island around the corner for an inexpensive good breakfast!

All I can say is I was very surprised and disappointed at The Platinum hotel. The hotel seemed older than what it claim to have been once inside the rooms. When I complained about the lack of cleanliness that's when things changed from that point on. The hotel needs to do a little work on some of their rooms. The carpeting in most hallways needs to cleaned. Kinda dingy! The staff was wonderful and very accommodating. The best part was no smoke! After being in smoky casinos, it was nice to retreat somewhere that had clean air!

I have stayed in this hotel a few times and never dissapointed. What I like about this hotel is the spacious rooms. A kitchenette, jaccuzie tub,seperate living room, balcony and bedroom was more than enough to satisfy my comfort zone. The only problem was the shower head. The Platinum Hotel was very nice. The rooms were large and comfortable. It's a short walk (couple of blocks) from the strip. We didn't use the kitchen to cook, but it was great to have a full size fridge to store our drinks. My only complaint is that the pool area is too small.

Even though the hotel is not on the strip, it's location is very convenient, only a 5 minute walk from the strip. The hotel was very nice and having an indoor pool made it even better. We had the 950 sq ft strip view suite and it was very spacious for all 4 of us. Would stay there again!

We love this place. My only hesitation in giving it a good rating is giving away the secret! This is a perfect place to stay if you want to live at walking distance from the strip in a calm and nice place. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful and the rooms are very spacy and nice furnitured and well equiped. 10 dollars for 24 hours of internet... That wasn't cool. They have free wifi in two specific areas in the hotel, but going down to the lobby or the pool just to use it was pretty inconvenient. Other than that, I enjoyed the hotel. Also, you have to request pots/pans/etc. for cooking if you want them. That was kind of confusing.

I had a great time at this hotel. Celebrated my b-day with a group of friends and we shared the 1 bdrm (2 queen guarantied option) suite ~1100 sq ft. It was more than enough room for all of us and the amenities were very upscale. Stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, large full kitchen, W/D in room, large balcony, fireplace and spacious […] living area with bedroom separate. There was even a jet spa tub in the room! Hotel service was great, friendly and professional front desk, bartender was awesome! Outdoor pool area was nice and it was an added bonus with the indoor pool area bc the weather wasn't all that great the weekend we were there. Wonderful hotel out of the hustle and bustle of the strip. Gym was great, could use mirrors. Only complaint was not enough drawer space in the room. I had read that they had a shuttle car and they denied this. On the last day of our stay we found out that they did have a shuttle (station wagon) that was available to owners (it's condos) and vips but […] that if they are not busy could be used by guests. I had a great stay here. The hotel was spacious, comfortable, had friendly staff, and was a great value. A similar room on the strip would cost at least twice as much. We had four guests and so the 2 Queen beds with pull-out couch was perfect for us not wanting to kill each other by the 3rd night. They offer free WiFi in the Lounge, Restaurant, and […] Pool. If you're not planning on staying in your room that much and prefer to be right in the middle of things, perhaps this isn't your place. the hotel is about a twenty minute walk to the strip, and the paths etc en-route have alot of rubbish. The suite itself was very big had all you required, we stayed four nights and the room became dustier and dustier may be to big for the cleaner to keep clean. To be fair what we paid was very reasonable, but luxury it is not, the hotel was basic including […] the pool. The room I was allocated on arrival overlooked an ugly flat roof with an air conditioning outlet right outside the window - the room consequently smelled of fried food. However, staff were helpful and polite. They offered me a room on a higher floor but I had to downgrade from the Princess suite I had booked and payed for. They could not refund the […] difference in rate but did provide a credit to cover some food and beverage costs during my stay. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable with a large bathroom. I had a 'strip view' but due to the location of the hotel, the immediate view is of two petrol stations, some empty lots and a some sort of sub power arrangements of pylons. The bartender was helpful and welcoming. However, the bar closed at 11pm so no late night last drinks with freinds were feasible. The pool area was clean with plenty of sunbeds and comfy seating available and again the staff were helpful and polite. However, this is just a roof top pool and pretty bare compared with the lush pool surroundings on offer at the larger hotels. Overall I would say that if you are visiting Vegas for the first time and are looking for the 'Vegas experience' and plush surroundings in the thick of the action, don't stay at this hotel. Whilst it is just a 15 - 20 minute walk to the strip, the surroundings are not too pretty. Some of the larger, plusher hotels were available at a similar rate and with hindsight I would have preferred to stay at one of those. However, if you don't mind having no casino, no late bar and are looking for a quiet and less crowded environment, then this would be fine given that the rooms and staff could not be faulted. It was a five to six minute walk to the strip, but at least you arrive at the middle of the strip, so it is a central location. The walk to the strip takes you past the Westin which has a casino and if you choose you can always enter the side door of Bally's. The staff at the hotel are very professional and courteseous. They are quick to hold doors open and greet you as a welcomed guest. Parking is valet only but this service is quite fast and easy. Being slightly removed from the strip, there are a few homeless people who hang around the convenience stores which are close by. Safety was never a concern. Being this close to the strip there are always people around and about. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others and plan on staying here again when I return to Las Vegas. Hotellet har en rigtig høj standard, især set på prisen. Hotellet ligger 900 meter fra centrum af the strip og har intet casino. Dvs der er stille på hotellet, men man er ikke længere væk end man kan gå op til de store hoteller og casinoer.
